I loved the first grip they made, but the process of removing it (peeling it from the side) repeatedly messed with my joy cons connection to my switch. This looks like they addressed having to peel it off from the side, which is all I wanted.

Looks really nice, but still, I hope Satisfye will make a dockable grip with an easy access of the micro sd-card slot. I love the ergonomics and materials of the Satisfye Zen Grip.

heres hoping they release an updated version of their original grip case as much as i like this one, i would prefer having full protection over a stand cutout and a focus on it being more of a grip than a case. Edit - looks like they announced it earlier today, a revised crystal version at least
The sticky dots are used for the sides of the grip. If you feel its a bit loose you place two sticky dots one side where the plastic touches the sides of the joycons. If it still feels loose you can add two more on the other side. I places two on the right side and one under the locking clip. There is a small gap under the locking clip and i noticed my switch would move up. Adding one sticky pad there helps keep the switch in place. Unfortunately I have noticed my joycons have slightly scratched at the joycons. But it only noticeable when looking at a angle with direct sunlight. But overall its still a great grip, just have to be carful removing and putting on the grip.

But I saw Skull & Co from another TH-camr today who happened to have a switch oled early and did several videos on it. Any I looked up the Skull & Co grip and was happy to see a black gripcase as well as multiple colors grips for them. Your video definitely sold me on this case and I may end up loving it more than my Satisfye which is the first generation grip that doesn't have all the red bumpers haha. Was a very early adopter for Satisfye.
Hey dude just wanted to say skull and co neo geo Oled grip came today your review did not disappoint it’s the best case out of 3 models tried heystop was ok and a cheap and nasty was well cheap and nasty. I can’t recommend it enough. The trigger grips make it feel soooo good. They could sell rubber grip skins for the changeable handles and I would buy em but otherwise it’s such a good investment.
Does the switch dock bend a little bit forward at all once you insert it into the dock with the grip on? Will it damage the dock later on? Just asking.
Just got my Neo grip in yesterday and it didn't come with any of the extra things you showed off. Fairly disappointed with this as without the black dots the grip doesn't feel tight. It also creaks and moves a lot. All in all I'm not Satisfyed (😂) with this. I absolutely love the case though. Definitely the best part of the package.

They've actually taken some countries off their shipping due to the postal requirements! In their defence, shipping to some parts of Europe is expensive and hard, for me UK is a lot cheaper, not that it help you, sorry.
If the bottom of this grip where the joycons are if the plastic was a bit shorter not passing the bottom of the joycons the tablet would sit flush in the dock and make full contact with the dock
I just ordered this bundle. I was actually looking for some drop protection more than added grip. It’s hard to find a shell that a) docks b) allows for stand to open and c) fits in a case that will fit the charger. The old crystal case looks like more protection for a drop, crossing my fingers for drop protection as my 9 yr old will be using.
i just got this for my oled switch..unfortunately my grip did NOT come with the spacer configured for the oled model..it came assembled for the original switch..hopefully u dont have the same outcome as me...other than that it feels great on my OG V2 switch
After recently getting the Zelda themed crystal grip (to match the Skyward Sword Joycons), I don't think I can justify getting this upgrade for myself but I could see me getting this instead of the crystal for family this holiday.

Not sure if I want this yet I love the skull and co brand it’s my favorite and I always trust them. But this is reminding me a little bit of the satisfye zen grip and I didn’t like that because it left scratch’s and scuff marks on my switch. I hope this don’t do that. I found the plastic to be cheap. I have another grip for the V2 made with a much more sturdy rubbery plastic, albeit undockable. But yeah, it's comfortable enough.
So torn between this and Satisfye, had Satisfye on my old Switch and loved it, but not only is the waiting time gonna be torture with Satisfye the price for shipping nearly pays for this + the case
I got this to tide me over while I wait for my Satisfye pre-order. It's not bad, but I just know from experience I'm going to like Satisfye better. Skull n Co grips hurt my palms after a while. As for this particular grip, it feels cheap and flimsy. I'm not impressed. It works fine, but the whole locking system feels flimsy. I'm ok using it for now while I wait for the Satisfye. I think it all comes down to personal preference. Hope you like whichever one you get!

Skull and co told you that? That’s odd as mine fits and works in the dock to play on the tv perfectly. As you can see in the vid it’s fits very well and I’ve been playing docked at the weekend.

But with satisfy you cannot adjust the grip size for me their grip was a little big for my hands but gave a prefect right thumb position. But overall I like the skull n co more. Better customisation and different size grips to fit all hand sizes
Just out of curiosity, does the screen protector come with the version that doesn't have the carrying case? Coz I've just bought the grip but only the body alone with all the switchable grips, and It would be neat if that version also came with the screen protector instead of just the one that has the carrying case
i've barely used mine and it's a little hard to put in, like i have to put force into it and it makes me kinda anxious lol. does it break in over time and become easier to put the switch in? have the same white neogrip btw, OLED model too.

Yeah, I saw someone had that, I havent noticed any bending, I just put it in the dock and started playing it, worked fine.

Supcase battle is better the white color is dirt vulnerable and it is really better to put a sticker to avoid scratches and dust

No they won’t, only regular joycons can fit.

Skull and co told you that? That’s odd as mine fits and works in the dock to play on the tv perfectly. As you can see in the vid it’s fits very well and I’ve been playing docked at the weekend.
@@CTAtechdesk Thanks! I have an order in but was concerned about the docking. I emailed them & they said it couldn't be docked- but who knows who was answering that.
I have the grip and have tired to dock it. It works but the front of the dock bends outwards. You can see it bent outwards in this video.

@@dwilfred923 I love it it’s very comfortable as good as satisfy. But with satisfy you cannot adjust the grip size for me their grip was a little big for my hands but gave a prefect right thumb position.
But overall I like the skull n co more. Better customisation and different size grips to fit all hand sizes
Just out of curiosity, does the screen protector come with the version that doesn't have the carrying case? Coz I've just bought the grip but only the body alone with all the switchable grips, and It would be neat if that version also came with the screen protector instead of just the one that has the carrying case

I’m pretty sure the stickers are to go over the screws to prevent scraping against the back of the switch.
I got it and I have scratches under my ZL and ZR buttons
i've barely used mine and it's a little hard to put in, like i have to put force into it and it makes me kinda anxious lol. does it break in over time and become easier to put the switch in? have the same white neogrip btw, OLED model too.
Do the grips have the same textures to them as the old grips, or are they a little if not completely different feeling?
