Then to keep hearing that it's not real or that people are coughing on other people on purpose and so many other hateful things. Those people want to be treated respectfully etc. Yet they don't think they should show others any consideration. It doesn't matter what groups you are affiliated with or your personal beliefs about -ANYTHING-, should stop people from "going the extra mile" to be a compassionate human being in a time that affects all of humanity. This is when the whole world should be banning together. People always talk about how they'd help this person or how they wish they could save this good person or whatever and now is that time. Everybody can help so many others in such easy ways. I'm so sorry to everybody that has been suffering due to this horrible pandemic. 🌸❤🌸💖🌸❤🌸

People used to call her at all hours of the night, and when she called the business direct, they refused to change the number. So she started telling people that it burned down, or was shuttered due to health code violations. After hemorrhaging so much money, they finally changed their number.

3:51 🤣 I have done something very smiler when working for a supermarket on produce. When I was already with another customers who was quite old and hard of hearing picking new potatoes with her and putting them in her produce bag when a complete Karen came up be-hide me and cleared her throat and then it started 🤦‍♀️. After the first “excuse me” tapping her heels and tapping the back of me head, I stood up and said “I am sorry but I am already helping a customer, could you please give me a minute” I went back to the first customer “EXCUSE ME, I WANT GARLIC NOW” The very sweet old lady I was helping just looked at me then Karen and thanked me for my help.
I then turn to face the complete opposite “garlic? No problem please follow me” with the sweetest smile I could. And out of produce we went almost to the other side of a super store “Jared crushed garlic” as I showed the location with my hand again with a sweet smile . Red faced Karen “NO, NO, NO NOT THAT ONE” trying to look embarrassed “i’am So Sorry” and of we went again “OK, here is the garlic pasta source” now a steaming red faced Karen “No, No, No I went fresh. FRESH GARLIC IS THAT SO F ING HARD” hanging my head in shame (more like trying to hide the largest smile) “I am so sorry, fresh garlic” and off we went once again going up one aisle down another, around and around we went until again with a sweet smile “FRESH garlic pasta source” by now Karen was sweeting looking defeated (don’t shop in six inch heels, especially if you are using trolly) “garlic, I just want fresh garlic bulbs, please just show me where the fresh garlic bulbs are” in a very out of breath way. “OH, oh sure right this way” and for the last fun time (for me) we where off for the allusive bulb. I just had to look over my shoulder as went back down the same aisle where our Journey together started to look at the confusion on her face, then only to stop where I was helping the old lady 20 minutes earlier and smiled like an evil geniuses plans coming to fruition which quickly want back to sweet smiling and showed with my hand for the last time the Garlic which was under her nose from the beginning.
And off I go waiting for it, 5. 4. 3. 2 and explosion of anger, language best kept out of a supermarket poured out of the produce aisle. She was taken out of the store by security and told to go home before the police where called. She never did get that garlic from us that day. 😏

Does anyone know the episode where OP’s best friend is diagnosed with cancer so OP pays for her wedding but finds out that her best friend slept with her ex boyfriend and faked having cancer? I think the names were Maria, and then her husband was George. I can’t find it anywhere and I think it was a pro revenge story.

So sad about the lady who died from Covid in the restaurant story. I obviously don’t want to tempt fate, but it appears that the pandemic is now over. However, I’ve noticed that more and more people (who apparently didn’t lose anyone to this disease) seem to be diminishing how serious and deadly things were, and how devastating it has been for those of us who lost loved ones. I’ve heard even politicians saying that it wasn’t important because only old people died, which is really despicable. When you hear stories like OP’s about the vibrant, feisty and wonderful wife he lost, perhaps it helps to remind those who appear to be indifferent to his loss, and millions upon millions of others who also lost loved ones, exactly what a catastrophic tragedy the whole pandemic actually was.

My grandma passed away a month ago (not from COVID, and we live in different countries but are very close, not in distance way but family way. They are in a country in Europe and my twin brother and I are the only people born in America, everyone else in that country) we used to call every day before school (I am 12) and my grandpa got demotivated for a lot of things, so I can just imagine how tough it was for that kind man, and my (healthy) dad passed away when I was 7, artherosclerosis or however it’s spelt I don’t know, and it is very understandable why he is demotivated

Re: the lifeguarding story. The reason that OP was getting paid by a personal check was because it was off the books. It sounds like taxes weren’t being withheld.

  • @DjGrimmace

The reason why that boss paid the OP with a personal cheque is so that he didn't have to pay taxes. That is actually highly illegal and could've been shut down and fined heavily.

0:09 - Walmart Karen wants OP to help her get a bike she wants to buy, when OP is clearly trying to take care of their baby

7:51 - Titular story - Investigative cops mistake OP the news cameraman for the evidence collecting guy on a murder crime scene - relatively wholesome story (TW: Murder mention, police corruption/brutality in the after-post QnA)
