I know it’s a week early but I wanna dedicate this song to my mom for Mother’s Day! I’m also gonna upload a piano cover on the actual holiday so this one is a two-parter.
We finished watching Violet Evergarden a couple weeks ago and I really thought I could get through the series without crying. That did not happen. I cried at episode 10 and my mom cried everyone other episode so I’d say yeah, it’s a pretty good series. It takes a lot for a series to make me cry to be honest but the episode with the young daughter and her mother’s letters just destroyed me. The entire series is so heartfelt and I really felt the ending song did a great job capturing those emotions, I had to at least try to sing it. We’ll see if it gets taken down by TH-cam haha.
I’ll write a mushy description on Mother’s Day so until next time!

I love this anime, it made me cry so much, and the music is just beautiful! I've heard that this song is for the Major from violet, while the song at the end of each episode is for Violet from the Major. It made me fall in love with this anime even more. 😭

Bro when episode 10 is ending and this plays it literally breaks you into tears I mean Fuck that episode was just so much full of feels I mean I didn’t even expect it to be so heartwarming. But srsly episode 10 hit in the heart like a bullet.

Everything about this anime was gorgeous, the art, the storyline, and the songs, it was all just perfect and brilliantly done. This series is so emotional and brought tears to my eyes, especially within the last few episodes.
Both the episode witht eh author and the mother and child got me.
I like the one where the mother writes letters for her daughter. That one made the room cold for me.

Violet Evergarden gave me hope when I watched the show in a very dark time being in and out of the mental hospital. Came from an unstable home and couldn’t understand or tell emotions apart, didn’t know what love meant, was in survival mode a lot. Studied always and had a mechanical feeling like Violet had. Watching Violet learn about emotions and understand love, process guilt and her past actions as a soldier and choose to live, grieve over Gilbert and write a letter to him in the end felt hopeful. A year later, I’m learning the language to describe emotions and what it feels like to be loved and to give love. I’m so thankful the show and movie Violet Evergarden exists. I watched episode 10 with my mom and we were both sobbing at the end even though I had already seen it. After it was done she pulled me in and hugged me and I realized how lucky I was to have everyone in my family be happy and healthy. This show is so beautiful and heartbreaking it’s definitely my favorite anime of all time. 😌

My grandma is at risk of dying at a local hospital. These lyrics hits me so much right now, and I can only wish... for her best. I've shown her beautiful anime stuff, she smiled and loved them, even not knowing what exactly they were. And whatever happens today or tomorrow, I know that these feelings I have... are apart of 'I love you' too ;-;

It's now May 4th, 2024. Seen this multiple times and cried every time. Tears just streaming down my face from start to finish. Then I started reading the comments and it made it even worse.
I find it interesting that you made it to the same episode before the show finally got you. For me it wasn't the letters themselves that got me it was what violet said about the letters and her reaction to them that floored me. It reminded me of how Clannad After Story handled family and I still hold that as possibly the best to cover the topic.

Years have past since the release of this song and the series, including the movie that ended beautifully. Whenever i play this over and over again without thinking about other stuff, it heals for my soul and smooths my anxiety during my shelter time. Even though this is not the new version of the song, it still play the most heartfelt song i have ever wanted to replay forever. What this song gives about loving life, and see the beauty of animation really shatter my hearts to appreciate love and people that surround us. What this brings into life is the most emotional song others should be grateful for. As long as i remember, this song has ever, and forever speaks the poetic words into people hearts. You have created something that many want to hear for. I want to say that i see this song as the best musical series of anime, and praise the translation for making the word so emotionally bonded. If you see this review then you are not wrong to see an excellent mark in working hard on making this video. I wish that people will one day appreciate the beauty of the endless song this convey. Even if there is always a new song to listen to, i will forever be infatuated by song life.

I really love Violet Evergarden because it's very unique as well. Not many anime does what Violet Evergarden does. How the side characters' developments are followed and actually told and not just mentioned and it isn't just about the main protagonist but the real feelings of the situations that someone might have been through and so on. It's really an anime worth cherishing.

i love this line so much. i would stay until the end of every violet evergarden episode to hear the piano stop and raw voice singing this beautiful line. im sad that in none of the videos, the piano stops, because thats my absolute favorite part.
