I'm in the UK but watching what goes on in America. Ramaswamy reminds me too much of Tony Blair. Like Ramaswamy, Blair came from nowhere. Said everything people wanted to hear and became PM of the UK. He did irreparable damage to the UK. I have a cat who is almost 18 years old. I’ve had her since she was 5 weeks old, and she has been a great, loving cat her entire life. She spends most of her days sleeping on the bed with a pet warmer underneath her blankets. We had a sunny day today, so I took her out for some sunshine and earthing. She is blind now, but she still finds her way to her litter box, food, and water. I know that time is coming, though, and that will be hard. I wish you peace in your heart, Laura, and give yourself the time you need if you need to take a break to heal and grieve. Sending you lots of love. ❤

I can truly relate to you helping your cat transition, Laura. I am doing the same with my 22 year old cat. For past 2 months everyday I thought “this is her last day”, only for her to surprise me with one more day. I pray she goes on her own, without vet assistance. To give her all the comfort I can in her last days is the least I can do for her companionship & devotion for over 2 decades. We have to be strong for our furry friends in their time of need.🥰

It is so tough. I had hoped to have a vet come to my home in November when my Boxer, Sage, reached her time. It did not work out, I had to take her in sooner. She was such a good girl. Managing a 60-65 lb dog who would rather hurt herself getting up the stairs than sleep downstairs, that got difficult. On the up side she was very healthy until the last week. Condolences as you pass through this difficult time.

I know how hard it is to let go and say goodbye to our pets..I lost my 2 Shih-Tzu's to Dementia they were only 13 & 14...Jack & Molly I've had 17 pets ( dogs & cats ) over my life time and it NEVER gets easy...My Jeter (pug) and I , send you and Chloe a Big Virtual hug....Aly too . Jeter is just getting over the loss of his buddy Jack and he sends extra hugs to both Chloe and Aly.. Several people have lost pets over recent months and I saw a post stating that Purina pet food is contaminated and responsible for some deaths.
I NEVER used Purina. I lost my last beloved fur baby in 2007 to cancer I blamed on Purina. I swore only reputable American sourced foods, or fresh when possible, for any future fur family members. Funny enough, Chloe' wasn't a big fan of fresh food...just a taste now and then.
