Was ready to put it in jars, and as I was moving the very large skillet, my wrist just gave way! I don't know exactly how much that skillet holds, maybe I will measure tomorrow. Probably 8-10 pints. I salvaged 2 pints. 8 (. You cannot believe how slippery tomato sauce is!! Fortunately, upon using every dish towel I had in the drawer I was able to clean up the mess without falling! Yikes! Anyway tomorrow is a new day and I have a whole new batch of tomatoes, but sadly no additional hot peppers. Sigh.

Was ready to put it in jars, and as I was moving the very large skillet, my wrist just gave way! I don't know exactly how much that skillet holds, maybe I will measure tomorrow. Probably 8-10 pints. I salvaged 2 pints. 8 (. You cannot believe how slippery tomato sauce is!! Fortunately, upon using every dish towel I had in the drawer I was able to clean up the mess without falling! Yikes! Anyway tomorrow is a new day and I have a whole new batch of tomatoes, but sadly no additional hot peppers. Sigh.

And it was a pretty big mess, but nothing tons of towels and the washing machine couldn't fix. It did remind me I don't have the hand and arm strength I had ten years ago. 😺💕
