This is a compilation video of lots of shorter VLOGS - That means the Garmin compeition is sadly over - I've just trimmed that segment from the movie to avoid confusion but it will take a minute to update. This certainly won't be the last Garmin giveaway we do so stay tuned to the Cade Media main channel for more opportunities Thanks for watching -Francis
hey Great video guys, really enjoyed it and the pair of you and Chris make a great team. I appreciate this film/series alot more than Thialand where I found James less entertaining than most on the comments page, perhaps it's me. :) anyway; nice work guys. Pls do more trips and this pairing with Mike again. I aim to check out the route and plan a trip in many of the routes you guys took. Also I am a fan of the Wild Ones podcast so I watch you guys when on Zwift all the time... Well done! - Dwayne from Canada. :)
It's funny that the locals wear winter gear while you guys are in short sleeves. I live in Massachusetts and have been to Florida many times, for racing and sportives, and the locals do the same in 70degree weather. A friend who now lives down there told me that after a whole year down there, in the heat, your body no longer tolerates cold. Having been born in England and, even though I have been in the States for over 40 years, I still have problems with the heat. A friend, also British, and I did the Bangor Maine Fondo a few weeks ago and the temperature was 106F 2 days before the event. Luckily it pissed down during the ride and barely made the 60's. PERFECT!!! Thanks for the amazing video. Love you guys.
Dave!!!! I’m a runner, who is slowly getting into gravel here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Ran my first marathon this summer and looking to run an Ultra marathon (50km) next summer. Running burns a lot of calories, and is higher impact, so a long run can really take it out of you. To carry water, I have a Salomon hydration vest with a couple of 0.5L bottles on my chest, and then room for gels, bars, electrolytes, and a basic first aid kit. But on long runs, especially in heat like yours, you need to plan to get water on the way, as 1L is not enough for long runs. I do like my bike rides, I can go further than I can on runs, but feel like I need 2-3 hours minimum to get a good workout in… Keep doing what you want, and not matter what cyclist tell you, cross training is good, for everyone! Just have fun!
Great stuff guys💪🏽 I have thought of going through spain myself to enjoy the beach and sun. I can see you beat me to it 😂 no honestly great content, keep up the awesome videos.
Another Cracking "movie" guys. Not sure what's cuter ! The Scott, the Cervelo or the JBL "Clip" :) Needs to be another trip on the horizon, at some point, with "Big Justin" ☀️ 🌴 🐈
Very familiar places there, I really enjoy sierra Nevada and Alpujarras I think that you missed Cabo de Gata , that’s such an amazing place on the coast.
My girlfriend has made a ton of progress this year. For the first time she can hold 20mph on the flat but has to ask me how fast we're going. The garmin would allow her to know exactly how strong she really is! Thanks Francis and Chris!
A grown up video 👍 For watchers interested in doing some bikepacking, I think these guys have nailed it: 1 set of riding clothes 1 set of off bike clothes Stay in hotels (why make it harder??) But be aware that Komoot can drop you in the sh*t! BUT I couldn't do it on those gears 😵😉
I haven’t had a computer on my bike for about 30 years, but I’d love to have a Garmin to help me regain one of only two KOMs I’ve gotten since age 60. I challenged Phill Giamon to take the one I still have, but he’s afraid…. Laugh. Always interesting content on the channel, thanks.
Love these adventures! I should win the garmin cycling computer, as I'm trying to get my better half into cycling and this would be a nice 'carrot' to help her decide.
Love watching your videos. My question is why don’t you wear a Camel water pac? If you remember Kelso and Death Valley, that’s when you really need one. 🍻😎
Hola Lads!, Great ride…What time of the year did you go?… what’s the craic with bikes on a plane?… i presume you flew?… Absolutely banging VLOGS!… Hasta la vista!…me encantaria el garmin…gracias
Brand new to cycling and acquiring all the gear has been very expensive! Also, my wife plans on racing an Ironman and she would definitely benefit from borrowing it from time to time (who am I kidding, she'd end up using it 90% of the time - putting it to better use than me!). I plan on joining some gravel races and a garmin would certainly help me figure out backroad routes and manage my power! Love the travel vlogs, do a North American one next?!
Love the video gents - I'd love to do it, my biggest concern is getting a mechanical issue on the bike in the middle of these national parks. I'm referring to an issue that needs tools beyond a multitool/new tube. How do you deal with/prepare for that?
I am starting my first bikepacking trip from Belgium to the Black Sea in 1 month (never done long range, not really fit, as in chubby, and it will be the hardest thing in my life, hopefully). I was looking for stuff to help me in the trip and everything is overwhelming but maybe I get an extra hand with a Garmin :)
@CadeMediaExtra what is you opinion on the MET Rivale? I'm looking to buy one aswell but I'm questioning if going for the MET Trenta isn't the better choice.
I do not have and have never used a cycle computer, but would love one to monitor my heart rate and navigate routes, I currently have no way of doing this! ✌️
Francis.. I see you been riding mostly size S of any bike. May be i missed some video previously. But whats your height mate? Just curious. As im going to be transitioning from MTB to roadbike and MTB i ride size M. but roadbike size suggests i should get a size S for drop bars. I think im 173cm. Havent measured properly yet. whats your take?
14:20 : "You're taller than I thought" Now I want to see for myself how tall Francis is. I want the Garmin because I'm a cyclist, I'm poor, and Garmin is expensive.
Such a pity that in day 4 you avoided the road by the coast through the natural park and preferred the dull inner road. Missed some incredible seascapes!
How old is this footage? Texting Daisy and Chris not on an Argon and reference to winter. Which Winter? 🤔 [edit] Just checked old videos, at least two years when Chris did the Superlight bike review on that trip.

My condolences for you and your family mate!!! So sorry for your loss and prayers to you and your family!
🚴♂️💚🤍🧡🚴♂️
Spain has such a great bike culture and etiquette and never have I ever felt in danger or vulnerable when pedaling on Spanish roads.
I love these so much. Please keep doing them. I have a physical disability so can't bike as much so these videos are really nice to watch.
This was an awesome trip. We need another one
Why are you not riding your Argon bikes for this trip Chris ?
@@nathanwilliams4048this is a supercut of old videos
When was this filmed?
caledonia was a street name in toronto! not california :P

Nice trip! Next, higher level, Basque Country & Picos de Europa: epic roads, green forests, glorious mountains and always beautiful Cantabric sea!
“A owl” is the best reference i’ve ever seen on cade media
Outstanding!! That’s the best bike packing trip video I’ve seen. Well done.
Those descents look *chef’s kiss*.
A perfect partnership makes a great video, could literally watch this format all day long! Brilliant 🚴♂️✊🏻✅

Very cool adventure. You guys should think about trying a trip through Atlantic Canada. The Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia would rock your world.
great to watch!
So epic I'm gonna do this route someday but maybe in more stages haha
Caledonia Road is in Toronto! Rode on it the other day and I confirm that it IS bumpy.
Came here looking for this comment. 🫡
That was great! Thank you very much guys! I love your bikepacking Videos and hope To see more of them in the future. 😎
When did this happen? Spring?
Great video, I'm glad you liked the area where I live, if you want a guide for next time...
the best content!! thanks !

Loved the video. As a cycling destination, it doesn't look overly appealing to me though. Most of it just seems to be scraggy desert.
Good to hear about the lack of gelatin in grub there!
Love these adventures!

Bikepack in Asia again!!
Mega cervelo bike and set up, very jealous
Where are Pinky y Cerebro? I just watched USA and Vietnam, I miss them already.... and Ben. Chris is cool though.... Anyway, great video as always :V

Do we get to see the power numbers at the end?
@ChrisHallRides are you using a Shimano power meter?
What brand of glasses is Chris wearing?
I scanned the comments and description, but didn't see it. What month was this? You mention off season and cool evenings
54:10 Was that Chris singing the Dr Zaius' song from the Simpsons?
Hi, did you have cloth from Attacus?
@CadeMediaExtra what is you opinion on the MET Rivale? I'm looking to buy one aswell but I'm questioning if going for the MET Trenta isn't the better choice.
YEAH!
I know this was in the past at some point, when? And what time of year?
Bakkas is a very cramped club in Kingston!
Are you on road or gravel tyres?
Is there a video of the bike trip with Jimmy Francis references?
I'd love to do this, I ride a 1 by GRX 13. Would that cut the climbs?
Look forward to this - I’ve stopped watching your other material. This is way better 😊than
The number of times I absent mindedly applied lip balm watching this film!

anyone know how long ago this trip was?

Why is Chris not riding his Argon bikes in this video when he’s sponsored by them?
Old trip... he rode Cervelo at that time.. And Francis Scott bikes. Now Francis has no bike sponsor. And Chris went to Argon this year.
How old is this footage? Texting Daisy and Chris not on an Argon and reference to winter. Which Winter? 🤔
[edit] Just checked old videos, at least two years when Chris did the Superlight bike review on that trip.
Yeah, just keep doing this stuff. Where's Laurence?
I have Wahoo computer and need new one. If i'am lucky this is good time to change "team".
I am a fat upper muddled aged woman just started cycling and I would really be grateful to have the Garmin .
👏👏👍👍
I don’t have a bike computer and i have a terrible sense of direction 🙈
Like the way you always say . There is some
INSERT WORD
.then we can't see it.. windmill, mountains.. all life is bidets
Bad-Ass!
@CadeMediaExtra Simply because I'm broke and can't afford one lol
