Hilarious This is just so hones and funny..... "I already enjoyed her .. " This is world class and dosen't get much better :) Thanks for a great interview..
I'm pretty sure I watched this many years ago way before I knew who Survive the Jive was.
I love when you sing in your native language even if I can't understand a word of it.
That is awesome seeing so much of the Faroese people that are into Tyr!
Týr represents pride, courage, confidence, freedom, love for your homeland and traditions, mental independence, power etc. These things are disliked by many and those are accusing them with fascism and racism and killing whales...because those need idiots...
Týr is great!
Awesome TYR is one of my favourite Metal bands ! Cheers brother
Wow, this gig got spirit.
There's no better band than TÝR.
I think it would just be the craziest but most amazing thing I've ever seen :D
The blonde guitarist sounds like the big guy from The Waterboy with the funny eyes! lol
It would be hilarious if the Faroe Islands entered the Eurovision Song Contest and sent these guys.
SHOW ME WHAT YOU WROUGHT!
1 dislike. Probably from an offended, yet slightly flattered Eivør.
Yikes, caught a sight of the crazy Faroese pony lady who I worked for for 6 months. G! festivals is so epic, what a hidden gem
You go guy!
terji has such a lovely looww voice
When I heard Tyr weren't neo pagans = Devastation
They're closer to Atheopaganism. Cultural affiliation without doing the belief stuff.
I don't get why they don't have any interest in pagan spirituality, or why they put us down as 'more crazy than Christians'. I do get the bad bands who don't sound good but try to carry the day with militant paganism, but the categorical dismissal of our ancient spiritual traditions is a bit disingenuous and poorly considered.
+FarFromEquilibrium I should imagine the kind of pagans they meet through the "viking metal" scene in places like Germany and the USA are rather eccentric to say the least.
Survive the Jive
yeah, probably so, haha!
Well, for me, in this age of knowledge and wisdom, I see all gods as a thing of the past.
They're Atheopagans. Cultural affiliation without doing the belief stuff.

As Heri says in the inteview posted in February, you've been moving towards a more catchy, easily accessible sound. I really believe you could write a song that stays true to both your metal and folk roots while catching the attention of the rest of Europe. If you feel there is a way for you to participate while maintaining your artistic integrity, I say you should try!
5:26 wuhuuu!
Hail Europa!
it is not one of hers, but an old folk song i believe. i am afraid i don't know its name.
