DarthVidar-spiller Well, Tails being a jerk to Sonic already happened in Sonic Adventure, but it was just to help him be a better hero. Here, Tails is just suspicious and biased against Eggman because he’s going to pull a fast one on Sonic after he gets rid of the Six and the Badniks are freed from their evil clutches... which is exactly what happens after Zavok is defeated.
Romeo Reyes Yes, which is why we must grateful every time the Egg page turns. Eggman got his Badniks back at the cost of his jetpack and half of his mustache, but things return to normal just in time for the Official Establishment of the Eggman Empire 4 years later with Infinite, the most badass Sonic villain the Eggman Empire ever had.

honestly, i find lost world better than colors and generations, lost world is my 3rd favorite sonic game, 2nd is sonic mania, number 1 favorite is unleashed
boost gameplay is the best way to play sonic in 3D, for the first time those levels seem to look like "boost to win" but if u learn level boost gameplay is definetely the best

@@beta511ee4 Because we shouldn't have to having other parts of story in a game be in comic books was OK back then because of hardware limitations developers couldn't fit the entire story into a game so they had to think of other ways to fill us in but now we have better consols which means they can fit more on them so really there's no reason why the whole story shouldn't have been on there

Dude, I haven't played this game, but I have seen cinamasins and content that is simalar and seriously... those sins you gave to this game are waaaay overkill.
I absolutely love how this video has well-deserved Take Thats at the FORCED comedy in the Colors Era that are long overdue. Makes me wish we had videos like this when the games came out. I literally cheered the first time I heard the comedy being criticized, because it immediately told me, " this is going to be great. " I was very confused at the videomaker siding with Tails sometimes though, considering this is the most unlikable that Tails has ever been, period. And gameplay sins, too! AWESOME! I cheered at that, too! About time a kind of game sin video like this actually have its title be accurate and cover stuff other than the plot. I hated the final boss of Colors, and I beat Sonic 2 for the Master System twice, so it's not like I'm bad at games, I just found it really challenging. That's a really good point about the run button, I never thought of it that way.
So is anybody gonna ignore the fact that Sonic's arm is blue on the thumbnail?

I know this was 7 years ago. But in defense of Roger. I actually think hes the best voice actor Sonic has ever had. He feels like a nice profression from Jason Griffith and most of the time his voice actually fits Sonic a lot more than the past VAs. Proof of this would be through Sonic Frontiers, Sonic Boom, Colours: Rise of the Wisps, and those Twitter Takeovers the Twitter Account does. Roger is not a bad VA. he is good when the script and Voice Direction allows for it. Which was something that wasn't a priority with these games. I'm so glad Pontac and Graff are not writing these anymore

Eggman has always been able to keep up with Sonic.
Heck, in Sonic 2, he can _outrun full-speed Sonic_ when he's heading for the Egg Robo or whatever the name is. That is a sin still, since it's not at all possible in realistic physics (heck, not even Sonic is possible - and he doesn't even go anywhere _near_ 'the speed of sound'), but...when it comes to that universe, it's not a sin.
technically speaking, in those earlier games eggman is EQUALLY as fast as sonic. when sonic is chasing after him the distance between the both of them remains the same throughout the chase. so a better way to state this is that eggman started off earlier than sonic

Good points; I've never played any Sonic games, outside a brief bit of _Unleashed_, so I have to base names off of my second-hand knowledge.
As for the speed thing, MatPat (from Game Theory) did a, well, _Theory_ about it years ago - it's one of his earliest videos. I also haven't watched it recently, so had to go off rusty memory.

what i don't like about sonic 2 is how it focuses more around speed and not balancing it out with platforming and exploration, my favorite zones are mystic cave, wing fortress, and metropolis zone because they balance it out with speed, platforming, and exploration

Roger Craig Smith as sonic deserves 100 sins. The old voice actors were way more adapted to the character
+Kage Aisuko As much as I like Roger Craig Smith as a voice actor, he really got screwed over in Colors and Lost World. The god awful dialogue Sonic was given didn't help either. I think he did better in the Boom AU, as he was given better direction and was allowed to be more expressive.

Don't mind Smith at all. Just, I don't think a guy at least 40 should voice a 15 year old... a cocky, sassy, egotistical (but still kind) 15 year old.
The reason he was better in boom was because the main line tries to be serious, while Boom is more comedy centered (see the TV show for example). It's one of those "I work better in X kind of game than I do in X kind of game" situations.
