Getting back to history. Some of the RV's in the 50's, listed as the first "mobile homes," had full-side slides. The buyer could take a full-sized house with them wherever they went. They didn't last long because I believe the technology wasn't available then. Now we have it, and can potentially take a full-sized house with us. How cool!
Re:Container home that expands-"tiny house listings"- your beautiful expandible container home. My goodness, you have eptomized nearly everything I have dreamed of in a home. What a concept! The kitchen catches everything, spills, food, muddy shoes etc.lol. At this time in my life what I'd give for a tiny home but that kind of spending is out of the question. This idea would be GREAT in areas that are subject to bad flooding every few years. If you knew one of those devastating "once every fifty years" storms was coming you could just rent a good towing vehicle, fold up the house and move it up to higher ground. Average temperature is -26-8 or so...But it can be in excess of -30° to -40° in the windchill. And in the Summer highs of 30°-32° with humidity temperatures of 38°-40°?
Very impressive design, and choice of materials. I like this. A back door to the home would have been a plus...allowing for human and pet traffic to back yard environment.
Great concept my opinion price should be under $59 per square foot with shipping door to door. I understand why the price is $200 per square foot. With all the upgrades. Issues with this unit is trying to get permits for foundation set up. Factor in a $20K fee to Redco that is 3rd party inspection company for the State of California. To get this unit certified for your building permit for foundation set up. Custom trailer is the way to go but factor in the cost of a trailer and DOT requirements with registration. Next factor in cost to get out of US Customs and hire a freight forward company for delivery to your location to assemble. Also, the cost of a set up crew to take the unit out of the shipping Container with forklift or crane depending on location. Great video and appreciate the time and effort of such videos.
y would u want on a foundation, if u don't u can get out of that of them inspection crap that the point of these up and set or down and gone, cause if things don't work out, move some where else !!!!!!
@@tedcantell9088 you are 💯 correct. But people always ask for units to be put on foundation. The reason for tiny homes is not to break the bank. Keep it cheap and simple.

Would suggest some type of easily assemble and disassembled skirting for the entire square of the home. This will pro mo ide for some outdoor storage and help with cold air flow when living in it. Especially for fold climates. A good option would be heated floors to help w ele and trinity and the overall warm comfort for colder climates. I hear you mention North America. Do you build these in the USA or plan to in the future? You didnt mention base cost for this home either. I would be a interested to know. Thank you.
Great idea - I actually had thought of doing the same thing but going up - making a "sliding" second floor - but it didn't occur to me to expand horizontally - brilliant design
I just came from a video from a year earlier with similar fold out design, channel was Christine Chen and from china. They didn't have much inside though. Not sure about insulation. Some places freeze in the winter so plumbing and water heaters and stuff need to take that into account. Plus snow on the roof I'm in the US so I'm glad it's available in this country
Tale gas funny!!! But his wife is not hot she’s not ugly by any means either, just another average one in a hundred typical Asian women. Sorry to burst your bubble buddy and by no means do I mean any disrespect to her husband. You think she’s hot and I believe she’s not!
Awesome I want one, I would also love to see another video of it finished and with whatever furniture and everything inside also, that would be really interesting to see but how much would one of these cost and what if someone wanted one delivered to California what would the total cost of everything be? And I would also like to see a 40-foot container model as well because I know it wouldn't cost twice as much even though it would be twice the size because I have a decent size property to potentially put one on but I would just love to see a completed 40 foot model for sure maybe even with a 2nd bathroom as well as the total price delivered to California, thanks!

High-Fives!! Thumbs up!! Makes my heart go Pitter-Pat!! Now, how would it fair in Canadian winter's? Average temperature is -26-8 or so...But it can be in excess of -30° to -40° in the windchill. And in the Summer highs of 30°-32° with humidity temperatures of 38°-40°?
I would like this in a 40’. I have a rental summer lot at a lake and have to leave for the winter this would work great
ORIGAMI style house! Often imagined, this is the first time I see it. Hope you will do a follow up when it is finished. Thanks for sharing!
really beautiful design, want to know how much the estimated price for a house like that.
Very impressive design, and choice of materials. I like this. A back door to the home would have been a plus...allowing for human and pet traffic to back yard environment.
Ok I left this on another post.howuch does it cost and can you carry it as an RV with attached utilities
Keep it cheap and simple.
they sell this on china $12000 for to units, with the different you can make the Chinese one look nicer than this
Very nice and thought out,.thank U...I am just a tall and a bit fatter and older... Have U thought or an outdoor kitchen area as its very hot here now and just getting hotter.
Wow! Super cool! If I had a place to put it, and I could afford it, I'd want to buy it!!
This is an amazing build!
Love this design! Awesome!
This would be great to have delivered via a helicopter to a mountain top as an emergency shelter or for the rangers on duty in high risk high adventure locations.
I like this one
I'm Intrested in one of these containers I would like to see a finished product.
I love this set up... but have something like this in Michigan the walls have to be thicker.. but it is a great concept
I like the idea of a 40 foot container please and can I help with the paint and design of the lay out?
Amazing build, I was just wondering when the expandable panels are attached/assembled how do you go prevent mositure/water making it's way through the seams/gaps.
Gap sealer at home depot. It's also an insulation
, I absolutely love this design and materials.
would make a great hunting Lodge on my Acer's in the Ocala national Forest in Florida.
maintenance free and materials used means it will last over a hundred years unlike something made of wood. love the design. windows are great also.!!!!!!!
Great design 👍
Luxury and I love your logical.
I have a big back yard I would love to have one of those in my back yard for rental!!! MORE INFORMATION PLEASE... Signing off, from Indianapolis, Indiana GO COLTS 💞
🕊Wow, the design is amazing, with so many thoughtful details! Good job, thanks for sharing! It’s perfect☘️
Very very impressive 👍👍
Transformer house. Way cool 👍
Plus snow on the roof
I'm in the US so I'm glad it's available in this country
How could anyone give this a thumbs down?
Haters gotta hate.
Because you can get this at half the price direct.
@@turbochargeyourhealth3413 How do you order direct?
Jealousy over how hot his wife is!!!!
Tale gas funny!!! But his wife is not hot she’s not ugly by any means either, just another average one in a hundred typical Asian women.
Sorry to burst your bubble buddy and by no means do I mean any disrespect to her husband. You think she’s hot and I believe she’s not!
so nice and clean , love it.
Wow please start selling these in order basis!
What is shipping cost. Seattle SF Long Beach San Diego or Vancouver BC?
I love it. I don't intend to move my TH. Would it be available in the US?
Thats awsome!
looks nice but how much will it cost and where is it made cause i live in the philippines and can it be shipped there
Awesome I want one, I would also love to see another video of it finished and with whatever furniture and everything inside also, that would be really interesting to see but how much would one of these cost and what if someone wanted one delivered to California what would the total cost of everything be? And I would also like to see a 40-foot container model as well because I know it wouldn't cost twice as much even though it would be twice the size because I have a decent size property to potentially put one on but I would just love to see a completed 40 foot model for sure maybe even with a 2nd bathroom as well as the total price delivered to California, thanks!
