I found this video because I was searching for disturbia hauls (love the brand). I love the way you talk critical and honest about the clothes! I also bought the same shoes (they are so so pretty!)
I haven't heard of this brand before and I'm not much of an "emo" girl but I love the style! The dresses are super cute - that first one, that print is adorable! Really loving this channel, I don't have much of a style because for the last 8 years I've worked in a warehouse so I've been enjoying the inspo! 🖤🖤🖤
The shoes are so fabulous!! I also really liked the ring. If you make them, I will watch more reviews of goth adjacent brands such as killstar and hell bunny. Hell bunny especially as Im already a loyal customer of theirs. I’m 4’8 and a little wider but these videos are super helpful to me because models for most brands are super tall. It’s refreshing to see others closer to my proportions. Thanks again!❤
Hey I was wondering how the clothes hold up after months of wear? I feel like reviews should be done after multiple wears and wash and I have yet to find anyone doing that. 😊 Just discovered your channel and I love your style!!
I recntly tried it and was actually pleasantly surprised. It was diffrent and material was better then expected. I did pick more of the everyday emo looks lol.
These pieces are so cute and look great on you! I think my faves are the pants, first dress, and the velvet top. I agree it’s def better for the clothes to be too big than too small but kind of annoying the measurements are off. Like you said, you have to figure out how the brands fit and then you know how to adjust next time. Is it a UK brand? The reason I ask is I’d say check their return policy if they are international. I’ve ordered a bunch of pieces from Hell Bunny and finally got one where the fit was way off (pants of course!). I was impatient so I ordered my correct size right away and sat down to start the return on the first pair later. They don’t offer free returns so I started checking to see which carrier had the best price and omg! It would cost at least $150 to return them from the US to the UK! That was more than I paid for the pants. So I got stuck with pants that don’t fit. I need to stop being lazy and try to sell them on poshmark or something. But I learned my lesson! Lol
It is a UK based brand yeah. Maybe I shoulda checked the return policy before ordering 😂 , thanks for the heads up! I'm usually really bad at returning stuff so its not often I actually do, so far its only happen with US based brands phew 😅
When I order from a new/inconsistent brand, I’ll typically size up, as getting them taken in a bit or hemmed is a pretty simple (and reasonably priced!) fix.
I'm always interested in new brands 😊especially as there's not many stores in my small town... It's hard to find things in person. So I'm always looking where to find fun but affordable brands
I wonder if you buy from US if they deduct the taxes? Contrary to the US our prices already include all taxes, VAT kinda our sales tax is around 20% which is quite high.
@@AnnettesFashionCorner then it's possible you paid the taxes. I know with big retailers like Harrods US customers pay the price minus taxes and the don't have to pay US taxes either so you can buy items cheaper in the UK than the US sometimes. But not sure all stores do that.
guys I need to find the Disturbia "Kiki Backpack" for my girlfriend as gift, but it's out of production from 2020, is there someone that has the bag and tell me the specs (material, internal material, number opf pockets, how they're disposed inside, the sizes or send me some photos? Please I beg you. I want to do this bag from 0 from a leather shop here in Italy.
With your waistband if it has a channel ' the folder over Sean fat elastic is threaded through at the waistband ) then all you do is at the back of the trouser cut a vertical stop in the inner later & then pull the inner elastic to form a loop inside ..then pin the elastic to suit your needs and pin it with a safety pin as you cut off the excess piece of elastic & hand sew elastic ends together securely & then Ben down the inner seam ..The other thing you can do is get a nice Rice of velvet or silky ribbon & just thread it through existing channel & make a little neat vertical sour at the front of the waistband on the outside ..Get a bigger safety pin & pin through the ribbon. & feed it right through the waist leaving the end out & carry on I too it comes out the slit so two ends hang out & then all you do it pull the ends of ribbon to gather your waist ...If it's a thick so!I'd elastic waistband it's more tricky and needs someone like myself who is used to sewing ..I'm 56 & was an original English goth in the 80' s ..still am in many ways lol .Just discovered Distubia myself & have my due in many of the dresses I love that foxglove print and the dress with the phases of the moon on the bodice xx
I like the vibe of this company! Some of the outfits you got were cute for sure! 👍 You haven't guessed by now and binge watching time for me to go to bed.🥱 It's 4:00 a.m. I'll catch the rest of the videos tomorrow! ❤️
Ooh I have never heard of this brand!! I want to see these styled for sure
It's my one issue with Disturbia, the sizing is wack at times and they don't offer free returns :(
this AND the fact that shit is made out of plastic 90% of the time, I cannot understand why is it so expensive when its literally polierster lol.
WOAH that second one is gorgeous and vibrant on video vs the desktop image!

Thank you for your honest review and close ups, you helped me spare my money for something better lol. Man it's hard to be an ethical goth xD
Your eye makeup is gorgeous! ❤ Sharing this video with my daughter. Totally her aesthetic!

Hmm I dont think so? Im pretty sure I ended up just paying the conversion rate from pounds to dollars, but I didnt look into it too closely 😂
