From our military experience those different colored shells there were all artillery. But the different colors of the artillery weapons are Confusing because I'm not sure with the color system.
I may be able to explain the gas if I knew exactly what it was. Certain gasses will only irritate eyes and nostrils through the bloodstream or nervous system instead of by contact. There are blood, nerve, blister, and choking agents. A choking agent is what I would suspect this was, but it had an effect on the walkers didn't it back in the city with Michonne. That was definitely a nerve agent by how she was affected? France was using a type of super mustard gas, which is a blister agent, but it's unrealistic from what I know about walkers. I had to be able to recognize chemical agents by sight and stimulus-response. All other details are not necessary and what I have said is publicly available knowledge. I guess it is the same gas, and 90% chance of the last scene being unrealistic. The first scene they were used in was very realistic as far as videos I have been forced to watch.
The acting of Rick and Michonne's son though was atrocious I mean come on man it was so bad I was laughing my ass off the acting was so bad with that kid
Million(s) of dead mass still out there. Growing new diseases and mutating along with everyone who's still alive still being infected by the OG wildfire virus. So many ways for this to go.
Condensed not rushed especially when you take into account the length of some of those seasons, there has been so much story told already overall it was amazing to see Rick and m back together fighting side by side, was there shortcuts and story gaps sure but overall very good
It’s possible the original plan was to leave it and make it look like he was caught in the explosion, but I agree 100%. But I think the prosthetic symbolizes his allegiance to the CRM. Which is why he left it and it’s why he doesn’t have it (or a new one) at the end when he sees his kids.
That scene was for dramatic only. Like, "Hey i disagree with this CRM rules, so i guess i leave my fake arm behind" and only reveal Rick's plan to Thorne.
The reason Beale doesn't have guards near him is because he says early on near the wall where he kills walkers that he liked to be left in solitude whenever some big mission is about to happen. However, he said he wanted to share this moment with rick for this time so they basically left rick and beale alone due to this.
@@theandrogynousmisogynistI liked the scene but it is still kinda stupid lool how would he know one of those people wouldnt decide to kill him after hearing his crazy genocide plan.He said he gave the briefing like over 2.9k times already, not once has anyone tried to off him??!
It was this, added with the fact that he couldn't risk any random guard hearing anything he said, and the ones he trusted were down in the commons getting ready for the briefing. Also, the point was to get the person completely alone and see how they take to the information and if they'd fall in line, Rick just happened to fail the test.
They weren't kidding and they fucking did it. The ending we deserve. I admit, this finale felt RUSHED. Anyways we finally have closure-oh i forgot there are spin offs lol.
@@heavyspoilers But for the sake of it they done this just to keep the production in order and not over extension it. Rushed? Bummer. The ending we deserve? Fuck yes.
My prediction was they were gonna return to Alexandria to find it destroyed by the CRM thinking everyone’s dead, not knowing they all moved to commonwealth
@@OWmyDragonBallzthey knew about the commonwealth, when beale is giving Rick the briefing he mentions spies in other communities and there’s a brief shot of the trains the commonwealth use
Rick & Michonne surviving that huge explosion (!) and Rick surviving a hand grenade he was holding (!!) were usual Walking Dead "things that don't ever happen in real life". The finale was predictable but even so the ending was a real tearjerker. It got me. Happy for Rick Grimes getting his family back after everything he's been through. No need for a Season 2.
Rick, uses the walkers like meat shields. To absorb the impact. We see, Michonne, and rick. Jump under. This blanket type thing. It must be similar to a fire resistant blanket. And I’m assuming that thorn. Was just far enough away from the explosion for it not to affect her.
Although this was definitely rushed, I'm so grateful they gave us fans closure for Rick & Michonne. I'm also grateful it was a happy ending. Hopeful for a season 2 with the group all reunited. I'm sure it can be tough for the actors to be stuck in a role for years, for us fans...it'll never be enough. We're invested in these characters. Richonne forever ♥️
Everyone has been waiting for thr CRM for years I didn't need Rick Grimes. I don't care. He could have stayed dead and it wouldn't have mattered. All the build up for almost a decade at this point was to see the CRM and the CR and instead we get a rushed watered down story. If that is what you wanted, Bravo. You got played.
@@LUCKO2022 Then you should have watched the world beyond. All about the CRM. THIS was called the ones who live. Not the assholes who get what's coming to them. Why even watch it? Obviously the name implies Rick and Michonne lol SMH.
@@LUCKO2022 If you wanted to see about the CRM watch the world beyond. If you thought this was about the CRM you played yourself. The show is called the ones who live, not the assholes who get what they deserve. I'm sorry your butt hurt because it didn't go the way your pwecious wittle heart wanted it too. Don't ruin it for the true fans because you can't accept things. In the words of savior Bud "If you have to eat shit, best not to nibble. Bite, chew, swallow, repeat". Lol you waited 6 years for a show you knew would be about Michonne going to get Rick, and bring him home. You say you don't care about Rick. Then why the hell would Michonne even find the CRM if she wasn't looking for him. Your crying not only makes you sound like a whiney little kid who didn't get their way, but ignorant to boot. Go find a different show, and stop ruining it for the true show/comic book fans .
It was rushed. The kid playing RJ is still a horrible actor. They wasted Biel and Thorn imho. I don’t like how they took down the CRM so easily all so they could wrap it up in 6 episodes.
@@idjfdjksksksk sadly it probably is. I mean they could get someone in what’s left to rise up and rebel against the new leadership but they built Biel up so much in multiple shows only to have him go out weakly. Jadis put up more of a fight than Biel did 😂
it was simply scare tactics it said in the episode they only had around 3000 soldiers and portland apparently has 80k+ survivors. if you get a respected leader anyone will listen. look at negan
I was so annoyed that Rick just ditched his iron Fist/blade. 1. Why would any amputee just ditch their aid...that is also a weapon...when your about to go on what is potentially a suicide mission against soldiers and walkers. 2. Thorne only knew something was really up when she found Rick's discarded prostetic. Dumb way to push the plot forward. 3. Didn't even take it back with him. Did he think Aaron would lend him a spare? 😂😂😂
@@Mythical.Historyyeah cus Rick made them pay him and Michonne as both creators and high paid actors lmao. Plus the original walking dead show was sued and they lost a lot of money from that
Oh this character is inter...oh they're dead. Oh another int...oh dead too. Wait an old charac...oh dead. Yes, the top baddie will be a good fi...oh dead. Wow the rest of the CRM will be angry about...the end.
I know alot of people might not resonate with this but when i watch this series i can see alot of things that are kind of like a sign of the problems we have in our lives especially after 2020.. it has so so so much emotional value for me personally !
Good episode but the crm was such a big thing and it took 1 episode to take them down while with negans group which was much smaller it took them so much more difficulty to take down a bit rushed if u ask me
No it wasn’t a good episode. Don’t trick yourself. Sure they got a happy ending at the end but we had to sit through so much bull crap in this episode. And they need to age up RJ immediately! That kid is insufferable!
@@MAGAWillSaveTheWorld but they were the threat, the city and the government were harmless it was the corrupt military which was the problem and now the elites of that force have all been blown up
Ive enjoyed the season and it made me want a second one. But this last episode should be the absolute end. The CRM stuff needed a second season, they closed everything up too fast
I agree. I don’t think it was rushed. I feel like it was a good way to show the destructive nature of human weapons and the CRM itself. It had enough firepower to destroy itself all in one fell swoop. Also I liked the callback to Nat and the final explosion gave a nice final send off in Nat’s honor. The speed at which Rick and Michonne took down the CRM also shows how the two of them together really could do anything. I don’t like overdrawn story lines with big armies and unstoppable forces. It kinda ungrounds the walking dead and the groundedness is what makes this show so good. The commonwealth storyline went on too long and it just didn’t feel real anymore, especially with the storm troopers. I don’t think the CRM is done though. They’re still the most dominant force on the planet, and they will be back. FANTASTIC episode and season finale.
The character work in this was awesome, despite the limited time/episodes. The flashbacks and the mentions of people & past events really tied things in and made me remember just how great the original TWD was. I really enjoyed it and hope they do end up bringing everyone back for a dope ass final run
It would be great to finally have them all get back together during Daryl's 2nd season when he and Carol meet up. The overall reunion of everyone is long overdue anyway.
I don't get why everyone is hating on RJ. The kid had 3 lines a total of 12 words. He is meeting the father he never met, someone who has been built up as this larger than life character in his mind. Of course he's going to act shy, reserved, and awkward. I'm not saying he's some amazing actor, but damn what can you really do with 12 words and 1-2 minutes of screen time. I guess everyone is some great acting critic, and I don't get it apparently.
Thank you. They make fun of his saying" I believe" because they don't get the connection to the phones and even that CRiggs (Carl) sold them. Further,he is not Carl. Post compare him to Carl because they miss him and some hateful people rag on his mix blood. The actor was not "allowed" to act in previous episodes, not like Carl and Judith but he did. He probably was chosen because he favors Rick--curls and behavior wise. Rick was kind of geeky-"5 pizzas and a wedding ring," Not the most cool thing a guy can say but certainly funny and endearing. RJ was spared the drama that Carl and Judith lived through;he was more protected. Look at the last shot of RJ and Rick. See how they are deliberately profiled together so that the similarity can be seen. It's pronounced, even to their smiles which are more with lips than teeth. Their handsomeness is evident as well.RJ faces Rick shyly but "unfearfully." He's not a fearful child.(Michonne said he was "us" when speaking to Rick about him.) What made their meeting so poignant is the RJ wore Rick's hat which was first worn by Carl and then inherited by Judith who past it to him. Rick lost his first child but then ended up with a daughter and another child, his son, who both are Carl's siblings, resulting in a story arc that harks back to Carl and Ricks' relationship and Ricks relationship with his new kids. In effect, continuity occurs.
That ending monologue was possibly the laziest exposition dumps in the history of poor writing. Poochie returning back to his home planet in The Simpsons was smoother. As for that RJ kid, sweet Jesus he can't act.
1 trillion percent agreed. God that dialogue was awful. Which is pretty much par for the course with walking dead but the first few episodes of this series got my hopes up
Thanks so much Paul for your weekly breakdowns! For the last 6 weeks as soon as I finished the newest episode I would immediately go to your page to watch the breakdown. You always managed to get your video out at the perfect time 😊
I know people are saying it felt rushed, but I kinda feel it was appropriate given everything Rick and Michonne have been through. There wasn’t any playing games like when Rick had that sit down with the Governor. Rick should’ve killed him then and there but he didn’t, this time him and Michonne together didn’t waste any time and just got it done lol
For everyone wondering why it was so easy to take down the CRM: Rick spent 7 years going up in the ranks to make it easier. If Rick was a savior, he would’ve been able to take Negan down in an episode as well. Ranks do make a difference because ranks-access and trust.
FYI not even the writers themselves know what "PPP" is. The writer who initially suggested it no longer works for AMC and refuses to answer until AMC pays him what they owe him, so the writers are forced to have to come up with something.
Having MGEN Beale fought in Vietnam is a stretch….he would be too old to still be in military when the world 🌎 fell apart. Should have made it that he joined the military in 80s during the Cold War and fought in Desert Storm and in Afghanistan and Iraq.
The outbreak started in 2010 in their universe, and since he fought I Vietnam, he had to be born within the 40s-50s . This is about 13 years into the apocalypse, so it's about 2023-2024, so he could be in his 80s, maybe late 70s
To people saying Beale couldn’t have been in the military because he was to old. He signed up when he was 18 as said in the film so, it is possible. He could have joined in 1970, furthermore him saying he went to Vietnam twice could also be accurate. This is because the average tour of duty in Vietnam at the time was one year. 1970 was 5 years before the Vietnam war ended. With all this being said this would have made him 58 years old when the outbreak started, below the mandatory retirement age. This would made him around 73 when he died if he was 18 in 1970. Since he wasn’t drafted when he said he signed up, the 1970 draft lottery only drafted people born from 1944-1950. Him being born in 1952 would be below that. Still wished to see more of him though because he was a cool character.
My grandfather was drafted into the army to fight in Vietnam. He was born in 1942. If he were still alive today he’d be 81. He passed in 2002 when he was 59.
Yeah I can’t take shows like this anymore. Super powerful CRM that has a HUGE army with lots of manpower, but has little to no security, no security check ins with staff, and no one checked in to see where the fuck beale was? Some grenades just laying around the base un protected, and to top it off, they put all of their explosives right behind the 2,500 officers with no one on security like that was a good idea. Yeah let’s use a silenced weapon to shoot at the two who are obviously doing something and not alert anyone to intervene. They could have played this whole CRM thing out, it would have been waaaaaaay better to have a standoff with all the communities + the commonwealth to fight the CRM instead of it being a cheap ass explosion.
they still got spies around as i understood, think of it like the jedi order, they were way over confident and left their guard down for a bit thinking it's a safe base, rick and michonne are elite so i don't wonder much about them eliminating a big threat so quickly
It’s annoying because Rick and Thorne were running point on the bases construction. If they had simply put a couple lines in with Rick saying he had a full schematic with knowledge of where guards mostly patrol due to his time doing the construction it would’ve actually made sense rather than just getting nothing.
I loved all 5 episodes. Then i thought that the 6th one will be great too. It was building the hype up and then they ended it with one explosion. I think it would be better if rick swore on the sword and tried to destroy crm from inside. Or maybe a communities standoff, something like a war with negan but bigger and better. I just think the potential is wasted
I am a huge walking dead fan and defended the later seasons when a lot of hate was going towards them. I loved most of this series, but this ending was terrible. I was very excited for a big wrap up and reunion but the last 5 mins or so felt so rushed. We should have seen a bit of how the CRM changed. We should have seen a bigger reunion with important characters. RJ having a blank face just made me so mad at how bad the ending was. Very upset about the ending I was so hopeful 😭
Imagine them compiling these 6 episodes into 3 movies meant for theaters like they originally intended. The 6 episodes for TV was suited perfectly to wrap up the story. I'm glad it didn't drag off into a cliffhanger like usual.
"And they live happily ever after". Fans got what they want. It was rushed but they just want to end this Rick's story to finally give it a rest. If there's more stories in the future we wait n see. But FN thats about it. A reunion with Rick and Daryl? With Morgan? That would be another series..it was a good ending.
Don’t get me wrong I love that this had a happy ending but I did not like this ending. They wasted way too much time leading up to this episode and it feels like they just wanted this to be all sunshine and rainbows and that’s not TWD.
As someone who lives in all sides of the TWD fandom. This is the best non biased review of the series. Thanks for your honest opinion and optimism on the universe as a whole.
The fuck they did?!?!? Judith somehow in some fucking way had an actual emotional reaction to a man who she's NEVER MET. EVER. so fucking what rick is her "father" love doesn't derive or adhere to a label. none of us would ever act how judith did in that situation. Every normal person would NEVER call them dad. And RJ's actor is fucking ai generated with that acting. I could act better with a eiffel tower souvenir from a vegas gift shop firmly stuffed up my ass.
Cool and grand Concepts but poor execution the scott gimple way🤷♂️ Best episodes where 1,6 and 2 in that order. Poor General beale hyped up only to be a nothing character although his interaction with Rick in this episode was the one of best parts the dynamic with these two should have been something built upon during the first 2 -3 episodes. Rick reunited with his kids was great but rushed. a lot of logistical and conceptual issues with this episode and some cheesy lines"Luv🤪 doesn't die🤪" never ever did I think that the Daryl Dixon spin-off would have ended up as one of the better structured and paced spin-offs
It's cuz danai and Andrew wanted to close out the stories. It's the opposite of gimples well known slow pace writing and Norman Reedus has stated he wants to stay, thus u get a slow paced story, with a lot of little details in every scene to build on the setting and characters. Unfortunately our favorite couple in TWD had to come to a more abrupt ending but at least they came back after so long
that's actually mind boggling that you think episode 6 is the second best episode. you either must have a distorted and under exposed sense of taste or be a paid comment. The correct order from best to worst: 1,2,5,3,4,6. episode 6 was a concoction of every single flaw the walking dead has.
At first I hoped there would be a second season, but after seeing some people's reaction. People don't deserve one. This was always marketed as a love story NOT a war story. I don't know how so many people hyped , and played themselves into believing it would be anything else. I knew they would take down the CRM but I didn't care how they did it. I just wanted to find out what happened to Rick, how Michonne found him. Then seeing them do whatever they had to do to get back to their kids. People are always upset because it didn't go the way they wanted. If you get this upset over a TV show, I would hate to see how you react when you don't get what you want in life.
So awesome to see Rick and Michonne back together. They are so skilled it’s a pleasure to see them battle Walkers together with trust they can each hold their own. Love the reunion at the end.
Me too. I was hoping Jadis didn't ever actually leave a note telling on Rick. That she just told him that so Rick and Michonne would go back there and hear the briefing. And that the briefing would be so mind blowing it would change everything we thought we knew and make Rick hesitate. Like maybe it was all for the greater good. That would have been an awesome moral ambiguity storyline.
Well, a short story so you can fully understand my point of view. I started the series when I was 13, and am now 24. I started the series when the second season had just come out. Simply put, I was completely into TWD's prime! Then Negan came. I can still remember exactly how I talked to my classmates and friends in 10th grade about Negan's first scene. Everyone was excited to see who he would kill. After that, more and more people turned away from the series, which I can completely understand. Now I am the only one in my circle of acquaintances and friends who still watches the series. And I must say that I have never been as disappointed in my life as I was with the last episode of the Ones Who Live series. You wait a whole 5 years to get an ending like that. Don't get me wrong, I loved the first two episodes so much, I thought the whole concept with the CRM and Rick's inner struggle was brilliant! Terry O'Quinn as Major General Beale, AWESOME! But then came Michonne. I have to say, I was never a Michonne fan. She just annoys me with her Disney speeches about love and blah blah blah. It just makes me want to turn on the Disney Channel and watch the Gummi Bears. Then came the end. At first I was worried that two people would wipe out an entire army, and my fears came true. Then Thorne, also an absolutely annoying character, her last words to Michonne were an absolute Disney Channel + conversation, "Love never dies." Oh man, so cringe-worthy, really. Then the absolute end. RJ and Judith run to them all alone without the others, which was soooo damn disappointing. Of course Rick wants to see his children, but where was the rest of the people? It all felt so empty and listless. Then not having a second season dropped, where they could have developed Beale more, for example, and CRM itself could have been expanded even further, I would have celebrated more than this crap. I'm out of the twd story from now on, it just doesn't interest me anymore. I waited 5 years for nothing.
I see a lot of people saying it was rushed but that's b/c people may have misunderstood the point of this story. The CRM wasn't an important story point it was always Rick, Michonne, & their children that were important. Rick & Michonne handled the problem/removed the poison (CRM's red units), informed the CRC so they can take control of the army, and went home as they said they would. Mind you Beale lays out the future in a sense. Millions of walkers that are mutating & need to be handled, spies & diehards are still running around, as is Beale's son. This series was marketed as an epic love story & I believe on that front they succeeded. Rick & Michonne have their out if Andy & Danai want it, but they also have the opportunity to come back to the fold if they choose to as well. I am just happy they have their happy ending b/c it has been more than earned.
It is just like if someone who spends all the time to read or watch One Piece and when they finally get to laugh tale to get the One Piece and it is just some ordinary gold with no pay off people like me would be just as angry. It is shit writing and you know it.
@LUCKO2022 this show wasn't for people like you obviously. It was billed as an epic love story NOT an epic action story. The story promised a happy conclusion to Rick & Michonne's story & that's what they gave. People like you went into this looking for something that was never promised & that's a you problem, not a writing problem.
@@charmedlife1990 How do you not follow through with good writing for an epic love story though? TWD has always been a drama-based action about family, that is the main theme that is promised. You cannot just claim that a show isn't for someone because they disagree with your point. You clearly have no knack for coherent and vigilant storytelling.
@rosiesimpp the thing is ratings & reviews from multiple vaild sources show they beyond delivered with the writing. I'll take their feedback over a rando mad about not getting the story they wanted anyday. Your mistake is thinking this was season 12 of TWD. That show ended it's time to move forward.
I’m extremely satisfied with TOWL! The ending made me bawl my eyes out! It has always been an epic Richonne love story and it shows that TWDU is able to give a happy ending. Richonne got so many wins and I’m happy with TOWL overall, it’s the best thing to happen to TWDU in years!
Last episode was definitely rushed, even if they’d concentrated on this one putting a bigger emphasis on the CRMs plans, the scientists (since most of them escaped in WB), Portland being warned with that resistance(WB) and also the implanted army ‘agents’ Beal talked about in communities around the world and then figuring out how to stop it in the next episode it would have been better. I’d also have liked more than that super quick voice over about the CR now going out into the world. I mean we got what we wanted, they’re home (or in a massive field at least) but yeah just rushed, really rushed.
So probably no season 2. Which is fine. The only reason I would of liked a season 2, is I didn't think they could wrap up the story in 1 episode. And what ended up happening is what I feared would happen. A rushed ending. His reunion with judith was bitter sweet. His introduction to RJ meh. If Rick does come back it'll probably be a cameo in the daryl show because those 2 do need a reunion.
The first 4 episodes were perfect set up for a season 2 and then rushed the Jadis/beale villain characters because they had too. I don't believe danai or Andrew Lincoln wanted to continue with the characters and asked for a clean cut ending.
They made Rick a simp who couldn't do anything until his woman managed to miraculously take down crm choppers with a dwarf. Ffs this is turning into Lord of the rings
I'm sorry but the superman at the end act REALLY kinda ruined thus all for me. First the teflon tarp, then gas mask turtlenecks and topped off with Rick holding a grenade while it goes off and just walked away like nothing happened. Like I get that they wanna make him out to be the ultimate leader, but still. Then again they did shoot down a helicopter with what was the equivalent of a large bottle rocket and survived falling from another helicopter. Idk just seemed like a lil TOO MUCH to accept at the sake of progressing the story. Also the reunion seemed a lil cheesy, but with all due respect u don't get much better than the first reunion with his first family(which technically his whole other family is gone since Shane fathered Judith)
I never liked Rick and michone together. They were both incredibly strong characters that could take on hoards alone. I've been watching since season one episode one and what I really miss was when it was much more realistic. Not in the zombie sense, but how humanity interacted with each other. It's become way more of a fairy tale than an apocalypse.
I know everyone likes the happy ending and all, but no way Rick and Michonne survive that massive explosion with just a blankie cover lol. Then Rick survives a point blank grenade blast IN HIS HAND with zero damage. Cmoooon, the plot armor really pulled me out of that ending
While the ending did seem a little rushed, I’m looking forward to the future of TWD and seeing a series with Rick being a main charecter again hopefully
i think beale mentioned having his people in the communities to tie into what hornsby said about him having his own deals with unnamed people outside the commonwealth. i was hoping okafers last words to rick of "swear on the sword" would come to mean something so im glad in the end it tied in. also small detail but kinda cool...one of the things on the table at the beginning was a can of orange "pop" which was what denise requested darryl find so she could gift it to tara.
I'm still confused about Okafor though. Was he on the CRM'S side or no? Was he telling Rick that when it was time to swear on the sword that he should not hesitate so he can change things from the inside? Or was he telling him not to hesitate and that was his chance to stop Beale and kill him?
I love that the dossier was put in one of the wire cat sculptures that Jadis made. In TWD, Rick took a wire cat sculpture made by Jadis to replace the other cat sculpture Michonne found with Carl (and later lost when the prison fell). Just seemed like a nice symbol/connection between the three characters.
I don’t think the season finale was rushed. I feel like it was a good way to show the destructive nature of human weapons and the CRM itself. It had enough firepower to destroy itself all in one fell swoop. Also I liked the callback to Nat and the final explosion gave a nice final send off in Nat’s honor. Great overall...some minor nitpicks I have are the flashbacks...maybe if this was a movie they would be useful, but as a finale, felt like filler. Also the grenade scene...how did Rick survive that practically unharmed? 😂 same with Thorne and the blast. The fight with beale was bad ass...Rick quick when he threw that knife
Thorne surviving the blast just cartoony bs. The blast was literally in her face. Also all those walkers after a blast like that? They should be in pieces. Such a fkn disappointment. It’s like they started out with a quality show to get us hooked and then gave up.

in my opinion it sorta made it better cause rick and rj pretty much never knew each other but they indeed should have gotten a different child actor for rj
I do agree with some of the other comments that it definitely did feel a bit rushed. But the ending was great and Rick finally getting back with michone seeing his kids and it ending that way with the crm now helping people and allowing them to leave when they want. I don't see anyway they could come back with another season so unless we see Rick and michone in one of the other cross over walking dead series or a movie in future I'm assuming that's it. Was good and definitely good to see them back together and it end like that.
The reason they most likely survived is because shockwaves don’t propagate that well through sheets of water. A giant 500 gallon tank being ruptured above you would probably be more than enough to provide the amount necessary to absorb and weaken the energy from the blast.
Night of the Living Dead closed without a open end. All the people In the house died They do say that they have the zombie outbreak under control. It was the sequels Dawn and Day that kept it going.
I would love for them all to come back together. This was always my favorite show. As someone with a chronic illness you have no idea how many hours I have spent watching through all yhe years!!
The point of the show was not taking down the CRM. The point and plot of the show was finding Rick and bringing him home. Achievement unlocked. Everything else was just dressing.
Beal said he had informants in different places. I wish we would've knew if that meant common wealth. Its just too much to know well never get information on.
The finale was perfect! But I don’t expect dudebros to have the attention span and intelligence to appreciate. The show was always advertised as love story.
Typical Gimple “mystery box” ending I’m afraid, would have been much better for them to have ended it with Beale giving the briefing and when Rick swears allegiance saying sorry we bombed Alexandria, only we know that the kids were at the commonwealth not Alexandria and season two could be about them discovering that, but I guess this is the best they could come up with given all the corners they’d backed themselves into. I wonder though, could this bring us a surprise renewal of walking dead season 12? Doubt it, but one can hope.
I have an idea about the "PPP exception" and the cards. They have moles in the other communities. This is how the moles would identify themselves if they ever came across CRM soldiers.
I'm still upset that Nat got killed so early on. I do think TOWL is over but there is definitely still a Daryl and Rick reunion-either in Daryl's show or a final show that gets them all together, as you stated.
14:27 eventually in the comics, heavy spoilers. The walkers become extinct because of lack of food. I could be wrong about that. It’s been a long time. But I do have the issue in my closet. The final issue. There’s a lot less walkers because of that.. I’m going to say. What I said last night. You shouldn’t make a TV show and movie. Assuming that you’re going to get a sequel. That’s how you get, a how I Met your father.. or a terminator Sarah, Connor Chronicles. Or even a Moesha. Everything should have it all natural conclusion. Just in case. I disagreed, there was only six episodes. People complain about filler. You can’t have your cake and eat it to. Because people were complaining. About the filler in the regular show. Now you want the ones who lived to be bloated. Make up your mind. You shouldn’t be let down. In my opinion, they did find what they had

It's definitely not the last time we see Rick.
Condensed not rushed especially when you take into account the length of some of those seasons, there has been so much story told already overall it was amazing to see Rick and m back together fighting side by side, was there shortcuts and story gaps sure but overall very good
Overall I liked it, but can’t get over one thing. If you lost a hand, and got an AC blade custom made for you…do you leave it behind??? SMH
Yeah I would never leave that hidden blade behind lol Rick must of forgot he’s still living in the apocalypse
One of the few missteps along with explosions up close but overall very good 8.6😊but these writers wtf sometimes 😅🙄🙄
Right?!

Because they all were B's lol@@alphadraconian1114
It was this, added with the fact that he couldn't risk any random guard hearing anything he said, and the ones he trusted were down in the commons getting ready for the briefing.
Also, the point was to get the person completely alone and see how they take to the information and if they'd fall in line, Rick just happened to fail the test.

It can’t be ignored that they clearly jump under something to resist the explosion. Remember it is a chlorine explosion. Not like a actual bomb.
And honestly, you could tell Rick doesn’t come out out of it unscathed. He’s severely shaken. For a minute.
No need for season 2???

It was rushed. The kid playing RJ is still a horrible actor. They wasted Biel and Thorn imho.

Exactly. The CRM was such a big scary force and they took it down like it’s the governor

Sorry to anyone who was disappointed with the ending. I thought it was FANTASTIC. Could not have asked for more. I loved it.
They could’ve went back to camp and met everyone again the episode could’ve been 5 minutes longer for that

Further,he is not
Carl. Post compare him to Carl because they miss him and some hateful people
rag on his mix blood.

I know people are saying it felt rushed, but I kinda feel it was appropriate given everything Rick and Michonne have been through.

Not entirely true my father was in Vietnam he just turned 70 last year
To people saying Beale couldn’t have been in the military because he was to old.

Echelon briefing aka kill and destroy everyone for no reason. Thorne was so excited by it, like it's some mind blowing thing that changes everything
LITERAL plot armor! 😂
I’m just glad that they have a happy ending 🥹
Beale didn’t have guards in standby because he orders those around him to leave him alone the day before an operation. Pretty convenient for Rick tho
@@charmedlife1990 Nah the writing was good for the first 4 eps. After that it got wonky.
100% agree!
Genuinely wept 😂
Gimplet just took a dump on the fans and you’re ready to come back for more lolololol
I knew when I saw the runtime was the same as the rest of the episodes that something was wrong.
Always have to be someone that complains 🤣
@@DkMovieClipz I am she 😂 no it was everything I wanted, but I wanted more to get there!
@@DkMovieClipz first time on the internet? 🙄
They’re probably in that field because they’re in Ohio with the commonwealth
That part where michonne thought rick died during the Grenade part reflected me on where she thought rick died during the deer eating episode
Yoooo
Uu cooked
I know everyone likes the happy ending and all, but no way Rick and Michonne survive that massive explosion with just a blankie cover lol. Then Rick survives a point blank grenade blast IN HIS HAND with zero damage. Cmoooon, the plot armor really pulled me out of that ending
They were so "lucky" throughout the show too 🤣, it just so happened they find a nice place to stay, a truck, and some noodles 💀
@@KinoJosh The shockwave alone shatters their bones being so close
FANTASTIC episode and season finale.
defo rushed
My opinion it wasn't rushed it was more about her finding Rick.
Michonne mission was a success mission achieved.
Find Rick, reunite with his family❤!!
People will give up freedom to feel safe. Such a true statement.
When you mention Easter eggs on Easter gives it a whole OG meaning
Great overall...some minor nitpicks I have are the flashbacks...maybe if this was a movie they would be useful, but as a finale, felt like filler. Also the grenade scene...how did Rick survive that practically unharmed? 😂 same with Thorne and the blast. The fight with beale was bad ass...Rick quick when he threw that knife
Thorne surviving the blast just cartoony bs. The blast was literally in her face. Also all those walkers after a blast like that? They should be in pieces. Such a fkn disappointment. It’s like they started out with a quality show to get us hooked and then gave up.
@@baddreams123451yeah i was hyped the most with crm but idk anymore am not getting my expections high anymore from these spinoffs lmao daryl spinoff was why better my opinion
Damn those soldiers turned into “Walkers” fast 🧟♂️ 🤔
Idk how I didn't realise that faster
@@PROSPAWNER1 This was another level fast, Rick & Mashone didn’t even get from under the tarp & they had turned 🧟♀️🤷🏿♂️Season was rushed, needed/wanted the closure of Rick getting home but, they rushed this CRM arc, coulda dragged it out some. This main villain came & went, felt like a waste of such a build up/story line
The timing is completely arbitrary. Andrea's sister took like 10 hours.
In season 1, it is mentioned that the time of reanimation varies between a few minutes and 8-10 hours. But these soldiers indeed reanimated really fast. And none of the soldiers were wearing those masks? @@occono3543
Spencer reanimated quickly after Negan killed him. And plenty of others have too. What show have you been watching?
The Rick and RJ thing felt weird, it felt like even the actors felt awkward as they've never worked together before
@@chrisdelia_ when I say weird I guess I mean I didn't feel genuine or authentic or hold any emotional weight.
I mean let's be real, RJ is a terrible child actor. The RJ we got was the same RJ we've always had.
@@adamwillis908Carl’s actor was a 💩 as well tho
@@adamwillis908💯 wish they found another kid
in my opinion it sorta made it better cause rick and rj pretty much never knew each other but they indeed should have gotten a different child actor for rj
That was definitely Plot Armor! 😂
I got emotional when Rick reunited with Shane’s daughter. Grimes and Walsh together again just like season 1 & 2. 🥲🥲🥲
What do you meaaaan, that's his daughter
Joke is dead for years now bro, let it die
That wasn't the point of the water, it was to protect from the mustard gas.
@@occono3543 Well here’s the thing; it would’ve protected them from both.
I watch your videos every week after I watch the ones who live just for the awesome breakdown 😅
Me too 😊
I think Shaun of the dead was the only zombie thing that finished without an open end
Night of the Living Dead closed without a open end.
All the people In the house died
They do say that they have the zombie outbreak under control.
It was the sequels Dawn and Day that kept it going.
What about Dawn of the Dead (the remake?)
I would love for them all to come back together. This was always my favorite show. As someone with a chronic illness you have no idea how many hours I have spent watching through all yhe years!!
Me too actually
Heavy spoilers is better than FUCKING asshols at newrockstars
A**holes? Why?
agreed
what's the problem with them?
@@MkSupranothing is wrong with new rockstars. I think the dudebros prefer channels like this one.
what they do lmaoo
7:45 The little girl walker from the pilot had one too.
The point of the show was not taking down the CRM. The point and plot of the show was finding Rick and bringing him home. Achievement unlocked. Everything else was just dressing.
so crm still not over??
Awesome in the final scene Rick is wearing his boots... The ones Michone found in the boat.
Beal said he had informants in different places. I wish we would've knew if that meant common wealth. Its just too much to know well never get information on.
Lance was probably the CRM informant in Commonwealth.
Wasn’t it that the scientists in CRM said that not humanity but the Zombies only have around 14 years left? 8:07
The finale was perfect! But I don’t expect dudebros to have the attention span and intelligence to appreciate. The show was always advertised as love story.
I’m saying!
RIP Heath 🙏
😂😂😂
I'm still upset that Nat got killed so early on. I do think TOWL is over but there is definitely still a Daryl and Rick reunion-either in Daryl's show or a final show that gets them all together, as you stated.
HAPPY AMERICAN EASTER, Paul!!!! THANKS!!!!
The Alexandria 'set' is still up. Andy and Danai did a video for TOWL while walking around those streets.
It is a real town they didn’t film in Alexandria but in Senoia in Georgia.
I need to see Daryl and Rick together
