      Tom Lo update: I initially wrote that I couldn’t get it but eventually I felt the right pins and now it’s all good. Thanks again 🙏

      Another update: unfortunately the car won’t turn off accessory mode so I must have messed something up. Trying to figure it out.

      Tom Lo the key isn’t stuck, it just refuses to disengage accessory mode even after turning off the car. The only fix was to switch back to the oem knob. Upon further inspection it seems the car would not register that the T10 shifter is completely secured to the rest of the assembly. Sure enough I discovered the T10 knob assembly is different than OEM, and this makes it impossible to completely secure the T10 knob. So it looks like I wasted some cash since I haven’t heard back from the company at all, which I guess isn’t super surprising. I just wish I’d known this before buying obvs.

      @@tomlo1289 removing trims and panels in the interior so I can install new ones. Like removing dash trim and door trim.
      Removing seats so I can install lights under em and what not.

    The key is the gloves they help so much , when I was doing it with no gloves it made it very hard that I went to a stereo establishment for help but they were not able to do it for me because I did not purchase the product with them. So I came back home and put some gloves and in a few seconds like magic.

    I have a 2012 Honda Civic lx, (Automatic). I bought a shift knob to change out with the original. I have run into a problem, I cannot take the keys out the ignition after I replaced the knob. However, when I put the two screws inside the holes in the "Shaft" without the knob I can take the keys out of the ignition. How can I fix this?

      I actually had the same issue initally. The shift sensor is actually sensitive. You have to shift your shift knob into "P" all the way. Push the shift knobs all the way to "P" and give it a few pokes. Let me know if you still have questions

      I haven't tried it, but you may need an adaptor.

      It depends, you would have to look further into how the shifter you want, operates.

    is this the same procedure for a 2020 honda jazz? my wife is disabled and I need to weaken the spring of the push button on the shift knob, so she can operate it.

      I haven't tried it on a Jazz, but I can only imagine it is the same process for the new gen of Hondas. I hope everything is okay for you both!

      The most important part is the screws. As long as the shift knob you get has two screws for you to secure it, you will be okay. Did you have one in mind? I can look at it and let you know.

      Some you can just push down on instead of a button. But, it needs to be for an automatic for sure!

      Not necessarily. I've seen people buy a "ball" shift knob. I believe HiRevSports sells them.

      Quality is still holding up. Just from viewing perspective though, it looks a bit cheap. The edges on the bottom are not smooth, but I did hear carbon fiber isn't supposed to be smooth. For a daily driver, I have no complaints.

      Not quite, you can use other shift knobs as long as they are able to be secured by the screws.

      Kuromatsu619 I believe you have to press the push start once without pressing the brakes. Give it about 1-2 seconds, and then press the push start again. Don’t brake for both times. Make sure you have your key with you as well. Hope this helps. LMK if it doesn’t!

    I have a problem taking my keys out the ignition after installing. Did you have the same problem?

      I actually did! I forgot to mention in the video, but just push your shift knob up. The sensor will pick up afterwards. Put your car into park and push the shift knob up. Let me know if you have further questions

      Tom Lo do you have to pull it up hard. I tried to pull it up a little and it didn’t work. Seems like when I tighten it down it pushes the sensor down too far and won’t move after tighten

      @@jonnyboyyy920 You want to push it, not pull. Push the shift knob towards your infotainment system. Put the car to park and push the shiftknob forward. You don't want to pull it. If this doesnt work, put the car to D and then P quickly.

      Tom Lo just tried what you said about the pushing and it still doesn’t seem to be working. Seems like when I tighten the knob it pushes down on the the part that allows you to change gears. That cream colored joystick I guess it would be called is what gets pushed down

      @@jonnyboyyy920 You don't want to screw with that part. When I say push, I mean to slide the shift knob into the parking gear and give it a few "pokes" towards your P gear.

      The first you do it, the boot will be difficult. Have another person pull it down.

      Try doing one side first. The first couple of times you do it will be tough to get the shift boot down. Hope this helps.
