  • If you're looking for a sturdy robotic vacuum cleaner at a reasonable price point, the iRobot Roomba i3 might be the perfect choice for you. This vacuum can handle pet hair, dirt, and other debris with ease, and it's even capable of navigating around furniture and other obstacles.
I've had my Roomba for about a month now. Check out my review of how it's changed my cleaning routine, how it works, how to take care of it, and how to use it even if you don't want to connect it to your home wifi or mess with the app.

Your review is amazing and had all the key information I was looking for. My mom is older and would never use the floor mapping/app features, so it's good to know she can just press a button and let it go-no other review had this information!! Thanks for such an amazing, real-life review!!

I bought a Roomba i2 from Amazon yesterday. It was supposed to be $375 but the "treasure truck" had it for $199 while supplies lasted. Getting a robot vacuum cleaner was the last thing on my mind but I couldn't pass up a good sale.
Now I'm hooked on watching reviews and (even though this is an i3 instead of an i2) this was one of the most reassuring I've seen. I'm so excited! Thanks for such an in depth review.

Great review I might buy one. What vacuum did you have before and what happened?

I had a Miele - wonderful vacuum - my favorite of all time, and I'd still like another one!. I damaged the motor once by forgetting and vacuuming without a vacuum bag (ugh!) and after many years of still working, even afer that fiasco, it finally conked out. My fault, not the vacuum's though!

@@OldWorldFarmHouse The Miele's are solid especially the older models. I have the larger Miele Blue Moon with powerhead for big houses it's probably 10-15 years old but very strong but I would fully recommend if you want another machine. We got it from ebay and not looked back since especially with GN Bags

@@Letshaveafewbeers thank you for the tip! I had the smaller one but the one you're talking about sounds fantastic and I'll look into it.

Have you mapped now? I have a hard time to map each room. It mapped but I can't name the rooms.

No I never did. It seemed really difficult. Maybe next time I buy one…

Let it map your house it works through Bluetooth if your wifi isn't great. You will find that you will love it even more, you don't want to pick it up and move it around to different rooms, and your battery life will last much longer.
