I love my iRobot Roomba! The only problem I have had was I had issues with the Roomba not ejecting into the base. So my husband use a air compressor to clean under the bumper and that worked it ejected into the canister on the base. Just wanted to mention that because it would always fill up the Roomba canister would be full on vacuum but stopped ejecting into the base. Best to let your Roomba run the whole house twice a week. The more you let it sit the battery runs lower. Keeping it running more often will keep your battery in shape. I have had mine for a year now. I did all the matinees of cleaning and taking it apart. Thank Goodness we found out how to fix the problem.
I deeply regret my purchase. The worst about the i3 is the navigation. It vacuums half of the first room, switches to another one (cleaning that one only half as well). Then it returns to the first room to continue or goes to a third room. That's inefficient for a robot that costs double as much as one who has effective navigation (like roborocks or ecovac). - useless mapping feature. You can't select no-go zones or send it to clean one specific room. Therefore it's only useful if you want to check if it went to every room (sometimes it just ignores a room). - no mopping feature (instead they want you to spend another fortune to buy a separate mopping robot). - The official bags for the station are at 20€ for three bags. That's almost a scam. - I'm glad that I only bought one used and not for the retail price. But anyway lesson learned. Will never buy from iRobot anymore.

We got one and they are truly awesome, the i3 is so smart, gets every corner and places we didn’t even vacuum ourselves

you can’t do keep out zones or set up a smart map because it doesn’t have a camera on the top.
were you able to set up rooms for your i3?
