Hi Ivan, I replaced my Pro-find 35 with the Pro-find40, it works pretty well in the field however, you may have to use the Re-Tune feature as this pinpointer on HIGH sensitivity may beep continuously. A quick push of the power button and all is well again. I have found that if you ground balance the pinpointer it seems to function much better. Just place the tip to the ground when powering up the unit and you should be good to go. If you hold down the plus button while turning it on, it will be in the Ferrous discrimination mode, it will have a pulsing beep tone when it detects any ferrous materials. In order to get out of the Ferrous discrimination mode you need to hold down the minus button while powering up the unit. It will stay in whichever mode you have it in until you change it back. xp mi6 or profind 40?which one is deepest?
Pinpointer doesn't has to be deep. It should be easy to use and will less issues. Fast to tuen on.
