Reese, that was perfect! Thank you for taking all the time to film and edit your videos, I've watched them all (I live in Idaho). Your channel is going to blow up over the winter, you deserve it. Keep on diggin'!
I use a pinpointer also. NOT to find a nugget every time, but to quickly find and recover those tiny iron bits that waste so much time in some areas! Those washes or benches where it comes down to a numbers game of target recovery… FWIW me and my buddies all use super magnets glued to plastic handles to separate iron as well. Anyway, I distracted myself from my question-which is how small or how deep do you find the 40 compared to the 35 or the Garrett carrot? Just wondering because I have the itch to buy a new pin pointer but I’m not sure I feel like spending the money if performance is no better than my old carrot.
Since I have been using it, I find it is more useful than not having it. I use mine every day. It is worth having and using for gold. I don't know of any other pinpointer that can measure up to it.
I am not at liberty to talk of other brand of detectors. I can say this though. I hunt gold for a living and I trust what is going to get me the gold consistently in all situations. For me and many others who do this for a living and need an edge to find the gold, Minelab is what we use.
I would look at a Gpx6000. If you can't do a new one then you can find a good used one. Also look for a used Gpx5000 or a Gpx4500. Or if you can do swing it look into a Gpz7000. These are what I recommend for more depth, sensitivity and more gold. This is my honest opinion.
I greatly appreciate your opinion. A friend I had just met in Quartzsite during the winter turned me on to your channel and had given me the same opinion you mentioned. I’ll have to save a few more pennies and keep an eye out for a good used GPX 6000. Thanks again!

Thank you. I will be back there digging and detecting as I do in Montana, starting tomorrow.
So Amazing, I love going rock collecting and looking for precious rocks and gems, Lori
Thanks Lori.
Another golden day my friend! Two thumbs up!
Thanks Dee.
I think you just like digging holes, great job. Keep digging deep. ⛏️👍🤜🤛
The 5000 is impressive!
Yes it is!
Great Job!, absolutely love the video, Thanks for posting & Great info too.
Thanks man! 😊
You know it's a big hole when it's easier to just get in the hole to continue working.
Very nice!

The Only pinpointer I use any more is this Pro-Find 40. In my opinion it is the only pinpointer out that is suitable for prospecting for gold.
what’s your take on the pro 40 does it really work? It sounded like it was peeping when u were holding it the air . Thoughts??

Looks like arizona gold
Plus your very good looking, so nice to meet you!
Thanks! You too!
Have you tried the Garrett Axiom? I’m looking for better deeper detector to replace the Gold Monster. The 5000 looks impressive.
