At first I was like - Hells yeah I'm doing this for sure!... then George started digging into it and I was like "ummm no" hahaha. That's a heck of a lot of work to switch those belts out.
The ‘don’t turn your ignition on while seatbelts disconnected’ must be an 06+ thing. I’ve got race seats and harnesses in my MY04 with no ABS light. Stock seatbelts completely removed. Love your shop!
Great idea, i always wanted to do this. I may attempt it this week. I have a question, since you removed the seats with the top down and disconnected the wiring underneath the seat, would putting the top up after already having the seats removed throw a Airbag(SRS) code???
@@LHTPerformance does that hold for international models? I have a MY07 in the UK and I am wondering which seat belt extender I need, the 00-05 or 06-09 one?
Oh no worries! I asked for your opinion and you gave it. I love the work that you all do and love the stride for oem+. Appreciate you taking the time out of your day.
red looks great, but that is a lot of work. I bought a new black seatbelt for the drivers side from the dealership. That will be a lot of work to install.
@@LHTPerformanceI personal think that either a yellow or and orange would be a better color combo for blue to make it pop out more and give of contrast
Dreamjdm The newer seat belt webbing seams to be slicker and retracts faster than older belts. We did this on the Integra and it made a big difference.
Yeah don't use (safety restore) for the seat belts. They are cheap for a reason. One of the plastics from the seatbelt mechanism was broken in the belt had a small tear in it
Crazy how a small detail like that sets everything off.
Crazy how u have to rip apart the whole interior ):

Very nice. I want those silver belts!
It looks sweet, I'd love yellow belts on my rio pearl. But damn..thats alot of work and my s2k is my daily
Bobby RioS2K Nothing good is easy 😉
Same here for my Rio (no long my daily) I would love to get these put in my rio though.... phew, they are sharp.
Love it 😌 hope your having a blast out in NC! Keep on keepin on brothers! 🤙🏼🤙🏼💪🏼💪🏼
I really like the red. Great work guys
Very nice touch !

The 00-05 doesn’t have an inflater that the 06+ has.

Only if you turn on the ignition with the seat belts disconnected.
Any recommendations on color for a suzuka blue s2000 with blue interior?
Love the red for my Silver 05 AP2
I think red or silver would work well.
Good job George
Looks good. Thanks
Looks good!
On AP1 if I take the SRS control module out then is it safe to start car with seatbelts removed? Have to move car around garage.
Yes, however , you will have to re set the airbag light when you reassemble it.
Is Jorge/George (how do you spell his name?) going to take over the shop someday?
Any idea if all model year seat belts are the same? Will an 00-05 belt work in an 06-09?
00-05 are one kind. 06+ are another.

@@1996chinaman I really couldn’t say. I’m sorry.
Was thinking of getting orange for my Suzuka blue s2000.... thoughts?
Dan Koolaid It’s your taste, I don’t really like orange and blue together. I think silver would be a safe bet.
@@LHTPerformancethanks for the reply! In the video you guys mentioning you did it to an nsx, was that covered in a previous video or on Instagram?
Dan Koolaid I did do orange but the car was orange. Again, it’s your car. Don’t take other people opinions if you like it.
Oh no worries! I asked for your opinion and you gave it. I love the work that you all do and love the stride for oem+. Appreciate you taking the time out of your day.
Dan Koolaid Absolutely. Thanks. Having your own style is important. It would be boring if we all did the same thing. 👍🏻
How much are the red sets?
You planning to do this mod to your corvette? Would love a how to if you decide to. Definitely a nice little mod.
Possibly
How can I buy one for my s2k?...
SafetyRestore.com has these on their site.

It’s so worth it. I’m debating doing blue belts in the Colorado too.

What was the website to get your seatbelts red ?
Seatbeltplanet.com
Nice.....i like it
Does it help with slow seatbeat retracting?
Dreamjdm The newer seat belt webbing seams to be slicker and retracts faster than older belts. We did this on the Integra and it made a big difference.
@@LHTPerformance thank you! Great information! Alot of people have problems with their seatbelt not retracting. This is a fix!
I should have done red seatbelts in my ND2 when I had 2 cars. Sold my other car because I wasn't driving both of them much.
The labor to install the new seat belts must be more then what the seat belts cost.
Kirk Endicott I don’t think so.
