Nitanish by Kashtin

Kashtin were a Canadian folk rock duo in the 1980s and 1990s, one of Canada's most famous First Nations musical groups. The band was formed in 1984 by Claude McKenzie and Florent Vollant, two Innu from the Maliotenam reserve in northern Quebec. The name Kashtin means "tornado on the horizon" in the Innu-aimun language, but was also chosen as a pun on the English language phrase "cashed in", in response to friends who alleged that the band was selling out.

My wife and I saw Kashtin (Au pigeonier À Québec) We knew they had something special and everyone that was there were sharing the music and the love of .... Music has no language same as all the paintings in this video . Music and art defy description . Thank you .

Jan I was ready to comment on this woman's awesome voice when I read it was a guy! Well the sound here is light, celestial and almost a bit of Bee Gees. Screw that " cashing in" They sound good so what's wrong with earning a living like this?? Beautiful upload in pictures and song!! I'd love to hear your voice:))
