Now that is what a horn should sound like. Brilliant performance. Silky slurs, excellent technique, golden tone, perfect breath control..I hope you have the stellar future you deserve. You have a special gift to share
After watching his fingerings it seems to me that most German players predominately use the b flat side and the F side for only a few notes. My question is why not use a single b flat horn with an F extension instead of supporting all the extra weight? If the answer is the sound I politely disagree, the majority of German hornist seem to prefer a very bright, euphonium/trombonish quality easily achieved on the aforementioned single b flat with an F extension valve.
I find this guy excruciatingly boring. I still cannot understand how he became solo horn of the Frankfurt Radio Symphony. Perhaps I am just comparing him with Seidenberg, which IMO is a way better horn player and musician.
The look of relief on his face at the end was priceless! Awesome performance!

One of the best!
Ramez and Gruber do it fine.
Supriman los aplausos por favor
Мне нравится.

They tend to like the Alex 103 and many of the leading German orchestras require that instrument and its typical sound.
Oh you mean a single Bb + F as Dennis Brain used !? I agree.
I liked Katerina a little better. Is he .01% flat or is it me?
Yes, he is, was from the beginning. Those excellent mics reveal the truth.
You’re insane...
The mike setup and balance is as close to perfect as I have ever heard. The triple mike Mercury recordings of the 50s and 60s are the tops !

danielibanezgarcia 😆😆😆 Your comment is absolutely stupid. Please, don’t show other people how unmusical you are)
It is easy to criticize not exposing yourself, that is, playing for others!
