- A short film about the Lake District Ski Club and their ski area on Raise in the Helvellyn range in Cumbria.
This film was produced by Ben Barden and Debbie McGowan over 9 months. It was shown in the Mountain Culture section of the 2009 Kendal Mountain Festival

Thanks very much, it was mostly shot on a Canon XH-A1 with some other bits from a domestic dv camera upscaled and pasted in.

I want to address the issue of 'not enough young people helping on the workmeets' - Ive only started going this summer, but i would say that the situation is not at all bad, with plenty of young couples and nutters like me occupying the mountain alongside the veterans! Great film, my husband and I met these amazing guys in the 3 valleys this week. We have been inspired to come and have a look at the run in the winter and enjoy their company again.
