Maybe someone know the answer to this, but I have my flywheel lined up at the TDC mark, but on the cam gear, the dimple is a bit off from being lined up with the mark in the cam cover, how bad is this and how would I adjust this issue?

From what I understand, you didn't use a flywheel holder and when you tightened it, it moved a bit. Your timing is ok, but your timing mark on the flywheel is off. To fix it you need to go back into the side cover, break the flywheel nut loose, and adjust it by putting temp case on to line it up. This time use a flywheel holder with dowel in lower cam sprocket. flywheel holder $20 on ebay. Otherwise just leave it and when your finding TDC, when it get close watch the cam sprocket mark to find true TDC. Thats my take on it.
