  • This is a 2022 Polaris sportsman 570. Power steering EFI. I have a little over 10 hours of seat time on it and 120 miles or so. Overall a very good machine has a few drawbacks but nothing major at the size price point and capability. I don’t think you can beat it. Also the most comfortable ATV I’ve ever ridden

For mixed terrain hunting, 570CC is plenty good. I have a 2014 550 Sportsman and it is reliable. The only failure to date was a tire… So I upgraded to 27” mudlite II tires… With these tires I have Way better performance getting through the various mud holes we have to cross where we hunt.
But now it’s time for a clutch kit… with the larger tires I have lost some low end torque so I reckon a clutch upgrade is sensible and it will give me experience doing a belt replacement which can become necessary in the field so it’s a good skill to have.
    Cheers!

I looked at these today here in Kentucky, 8999.99. Great review I'm 52 and want something comfortable to get out and do some casual trail riding on.

You won’t be disappointed. Only thing I wish is it had a little more grunt/power but it is not necessary… will go anywhere a big bore will go👍

You won’t be disappointed with the 570. Still as good as the day I bought it

Just built a shed to store it no deals at Polaris think I’ll wait until September or October to see if they’ll do something discounts when the new models come out thanks for your help brother

Had the 22 trail edition that had tons of bells and whistles super nice machine but the front storage is definitely cheap and don't seal. I totaled that one and went with the 850 ute and the front storage seals much better. The seat on the 850 ute is even better than the 570. I just enjoy riding so whatever you have go get some.

I think that 850 would be nice with the extra power … I couldn’t find one anywhere in stock though to even look at where I live

No, that was a good review, it did help me because I was looking at getting the Suzuki King Quad 500 but its way outta my price range, actually all those Japan bikes are, lol. but now I'm leaning towards the Polaris, even the Sportsman 450 H.O. isn't a bad choice ? Hum. Its my first bike so its hard to decide. Looking forward to more videos. Thanks man. Thumbs up and I did subscribe.

Really can’t go wrong. But I’d say the Polaris is a better machine than Suzuki. Just my opinion

Mine been recalled 3 times , The rack system sucks , Lack of storage and where the belt vent is lower on the chassis is my complainants , Do love the power steering

Nice review. I just got a 570 Touring premium model and it has 3 different settings for the power steering assist, not sure if yours has that or not. It helps having it on med or low at higher speeds with that disconnected feeling you are talking about.

Ever notice any clunking when letting off the throttle at very slow speeds like 1 or 2 mph. Sounds like drive line slack to me. Ppl say it’s normal just curious if you e ever heard it. Mine is a 2024 570 trail with 2 miles on it.

    • @avgdadgarage1982
      @avgdadgarage1982  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

Yes for sure. Pretty common in CVT transmissions unfortunately. It’s the clutch engagement/disengagement I believe. Every CVT side by side and ATV I’ve had does it

@@avgdadgarage1982 good to know thank you! I never noticed it on my can ams but they may have done it too it was just less noticeable. Thanks again, I hope the 570 is treating you well!

Take it to your nearest Polaris service shop. I purchased my 570 in December 23 & I had the same issue. I took it in for the break in service & when I told them about it they checked it & it’s a major problem. They’ve had mine for two weeks now.

I appreciate the heads up! Doesn’t sound normal to me, I’ve owned a lot of different atv’s, this was my first Polaris so I wasn’t sure. It also would always pop out of reverse on me when plowing. It would kind of get stuck between gears even though the display said it was in reverse and would make a terrible grinding noise once I touched the throttle. Unfortunately I ended up trading it in on a different unit. Good luck with yours, they are nice machines just got to work out the kinks I guess! @@NC0880

I’m curious about the exposed clutch exhaust in the rear wheel well. Have you noticed water getting in during creek crossing/wet terrain?

Ya it’s a bad design I haven’t had any issues at all. I dont mud ride but I’m sure it can be extended easily with a 90 deg turn down… either way bad design by Polaris
