- A special episode instead of my weekly this time, where I visit Rokbak, the ADT manufacturer: www.rokbak.com
Made in Scotland, they come in 2 sizes. I got to look at the production line to see them be made from sheet metal, then try them out myself.
Thanks so much for the opportunity Rokbak and the Volvo team.
Hello, I like your motivation to others. You transmit positivity in your videos. Greetings from Chile 🇨🇱
Yes, she seems quite amazing, her level of motivation is very impressive.
Greetings from Scotland 🏴
@@scots_knight4706 Thank you very much, greetings from Chile, it is still surprising that someone from South America watches the videos.
Thanks for the tour, nice to see investment locally in jobs and the future, Scotland doing what it does best building big things. 🏴 😊
Enjoyed that. I've never heard of this ADT manufacturer in Motherwell. I work at an aero engine overhaul shop and the Rokbak plant has lots of processes I'm familiar with. Your guide was very informative and they look fun to drive.
Cracking video again Amy it's pretty awesome to see how things are built and although I'm a digger operator I do enjoy a dump truck now and again roll on next week's video
another great video amy awsome as usual keep up the great work pal
Thanks for the video Amy I always wondered what happened to terex, now I know. A great video by Scotland’s best looking digger driver.
That was fascinating I had no idea we still manufactured dump trucks in Scotland great to see they are taking on youngsters to learn new skills. Thanks for posting 👍😀
It’s good to see you out of the digger (office) lol❤❤❤
Great vid Amy. Dont Terex still make constructive plant in Scotland.
Volvo bought terex out...changed the adt name to rokbak and the rigid trucks are volvos
@@Waggysir Thank you.
The company i work for supplies all miller welding kits to volvo.
Im in here quite regular. Red-d-arc welderentals.
Made in Scotland from Girders
Cracking video Amy. Being a Blacksmith/Steel Fabricator and having repaired machines like that in my younger days it's great to see how production has evolved over the years.
Hi Amy you're back from Belfast. That's a big factory, looks a good dumper. it was good that man got out of the dumper, you were fit to speed it up. 👍🇮🇪🇮🇪
It's great that the plant wasn't closed down and Volvo continued to make ADTs there and keep the job's 🎉🎉
This interesting, as I'm just along the road from this place, never thought about what happens inside.
Very interesting video a tad bigger than your Benford at home ... I went through the JCB factory when I was on a training course with Hewden it was an eye opener .. Stay safe and healthy xx
A lot of parts arrive pre built into the factory. Axles, transmissions, cabs - no doubt more final assembly takes place on site !! Used to deliver into the site when it was terex.
Wish I had a building like that to work on my toys. You look good driving that dumper, how many did you buy? :)
That was really interesting seen how these machines are made and that there is still heavy manufacturing in Scotland.
Driving that dump truck brought out that big beautiful smile. looked like fun
Hi Amy another great video and for me always interested in seeing equipment being made. Watching the driver going down slope with a wet surface and brand new shiny tyres he certainly did drift a little there, maybe showing off cause you were all there 😂😂😂. Now a question the guide talked about rebranding to get away from an earlier type, do you know what that brand was ?? 🤔🤔
They use to be called terex now Rokbak to get away from the fact everyone associated terex with rubbish products
@@Waggysir Yes Terex definitely dropped the ball in the later years 👍
@JohnR-NZ they never made good trucks only decent product they ever had was when they bought out O&K and built the 120 shovels
That was interesting, no point in you having one though as your little digger woundn’t reach over the bed 😂
Would be great to see the rototilt factory ....as always great content and luvly hair ...
Very interesting video. Glad to know we are still manufacturing on British soil.
Love your videos Amy and another very insightful one. A question I'd like to know and think needs asked to these bigger companys. With more and more of them using robotics over manual labour, does it cause a smaller workforce where a certain amount of jobs are lost or is it a benefit cause people are no longer going into that type of work. Be interesting to find out.
How u book a tour around rokbax I always wanted when it was terex
Thanks for the video, it's always nice to see how equipment is built. Even better when you can drive them at the end. Keep Smilin Amy...😁
Thanks for viewing this video very informative did not know we still have a factory that can do this. Great job.
This must be on Amy's wish list.
Really enjoyed that video Amy🙂
comfy dump truckin' :)
Amy maybe one day you can become an engineer
Michael Cusack Smith yes
Brilliant video, well done.
That's some machine !
Hello Amy, great video. That's an impressive factory. Great it's in Scotland. Volvo such a good company to be under. What's the load capacity of those Artic Dumpers?
You got a different hair style! 😊🤔
30 or 40 tonnes
Love it lets get some of it
❤❤✌️🙏 Another fab n Amazing vlogg
You are hard at work looking for a dumper 🎉
Awesome video Digger Girl about how Rohbak make their construction equipment from factory
I'd no idea about Rokbak either; what's even more embarrassing is that I live in Dumbarton, so you literally passed my road end coming and going between Oban and Motherwell!
Gees mate, ya sure gettin around to seeing and trying new stuff😍. Good luck to ya. Thanks for an interesting vlog, Amy. The Ole Fella from Downunda Greg.💝
AMAZING VIDEO YOU WATCH SOMETHING BEING BUILT FROM SCRATCH
It's such a shame a product built in Scotland is the worst ADT in the market
They are absolutely abysmal machines to sit in 😅
Hey Amy. Another great video good video coverage very professional looking. Good insight to how these massive machines are made. They really are from steal to truck. Hope you had a great time in Belfast 😊 only a few miles away from me lol. Hope you have a great week ahead 😊
Awesome video you don't realise what goes in to building something like that.another good video plus a nice smile 😊
Excellent Amy , Made in Scotland , wonder how much they cost 😊
Your smile says it all you look like a little kid on Christmas morning!
Very interesting video , great to see how they are built . Looks as if you really enjoyed your time there .
Hi Amy you're back from Belfast. That's a big factory, looks a good dumper. it was good that man got out of the dumper, you were fit to speed it up. 👍🇮🇪🇮🇪
There the complete opposite to good
Hi Amy thanks for sharing another awesome video. What a fantastic place to visit it's great to see how they are made. What we do now without robots and computer run machines?.I used to drive a 70 tonne Terex dump truck awesome piece of kit. I notice you weren't drifting round corners 😅. They are so different now what a impressive piece of kit. Thanks again Amy for a great video take care and stay safe 👍 😊. Ps hope you enjoyed your concert.
They still make a 70 but it's badged as a volvo ridgid
You sure got a buzz 🐝 from seeing ‘girls’ in the factory 🏭
good morning beautiful girls
