Let me explain: these lightsabers are extremely cool, and a lot of people will only go to Disney once or twice in their lifetime, most people never go, so Disney is a once in a lifetime experience for a lot of people, so you would only have one chance to get a drone or a lightsaber. In this case I think it’s definitely worth it, but for people like me who go a lot we won’t but it because we can get it another time. Overall these drones are extremely cool, if you plan on buying one then go ahead. I was just trying to make a harmless joke about the amount Disney charges for things. I hope this helps. :)

fun fact ILMxLAB made a vr game for the oculus quest two all based around galaxys edge! its called Tales From The Galaxy’s Edge and i really recommend it! but be sure to get the dlc with it cause the games doesn’t properly end without it.

I remember getting a droid like the ones you guys got except it was a fabricated already and a limited edition Sphero BB-8. Reminded me about it and I found it in my closet again lol
Wow, building a droid has changed so much since I last went there… I remember just building a little droid action figure and not a whole remote control thing-
The experience isn’t too expensive especially in comparison to building a light saber ($350+). My husband and son built theirs, came out to $280 for two droids, BB8 and R2D2. The droids were $100 each plus cute accessories added like a SD card to add to the droid. Finding an rsvp online and waiting in line at the park was the killer part.
Don't forget these are "schedule ahead of time" events. Same with the build your light Saber. The wait is 3-4 months (at least when I went) before any time slot is open, and they don't let u wait for anyone who misses their slot.
