Not yet. It is for me and you a glimpse into someone elses future. Nikola Tesla did this in 1898 with a Radio Controlled boat. The only difference is these guys are using much more sophisticated Digital Controlers with Micro Electronics. But the outcome is the same. 126 years later and they are still Human Controlled. No chance for a Robot Takeover any time soon!

The only difference today is they are doing exactly the same thing with Micro Electronics and Digital Technology. Over 100 years later and these thing still can't walk and talk on their own, but were getting closer. Fusion Power and Robots are the 2 hardest things Humans have ever tried to do. We have put Men on the Moon and sent 2 Space Probes into interstellar space, but we can't get a fusion reactor to work and a robot to say good morning, what would you like for breakfast?
And operators. At least they show everybody these are not Autonomous Robots. I think they are coming now because Artificial Neurol Networks are getting better and A.I is growing by leaps and bounds.

For a second I thought they were autonomous, but they have controllers who follow. They are basically wireless puppets. But with ai being what it is, they'll definitely be autonomous at some point.
It's an act. They just want to walk them around for display to see how people react and make an excuse that you can't go near them. Like that kid who might have lost a finger if he when to grab the robot while it was doing its emotional gestures.

Are these push a preset full auto or full puppeteer by someone?I do see the operator with pad behind them controling but do they have semi auto Ai mixed with little bit manual or presets auto?

These are BD-droids, at least fattier versions of the BD-droids. In the lore, they’re like tiny versions of astromech droids first seen in Jedi Fallen Order.
I never knew there chould be a main character irl that actual fails to do the commands ahe says like the orange one is the only main one thats failing character
