I think your boyys will take this one. You were unlucky last time, same as 2023, and we're overdue a hiding from the old enemy. Even though I'll probably regret saying this, it's great to see the men in black being led by an elite coach again. Robertson really does know what he's doing. The changes he's made for this test alone proves that.

Fantastic Tim...Rugby fever in SA at the moment. An aside the Cape is a winter rainfall area so its green in Winter. KZN and the bush up North is paradise in Summer and plenty others. For what its worth, we are near 30⁰ in Pretoria today. Seasonal touring in SA changes the landscapes completely, all are beautiful. The Drakensberg and Mpumalanga will blow your mind in summer. The West coast is underrated with its arid beauty and vast spaces. Tropical to desert to cool wet Cape winters and green bushveld summers up North, it is all the World in one country... oh, and cheap as chips with fabulous people and an ardent rugby religion.
    Enjoy!

This is of topic, but you seem to appreciate our country and it's landscapes and the raw beauty... That's why I would recommend going a little bit North, to the Namakwaland. It's about 380km to see the most beautiful natural phenomenon called "blommetjie tyd", which meens flower time. Only once a year, when we get enough rain, most dry and barren places explodes with flowers as far as the eye can see. Orange, purple, white, yellow... I'd like to recommend starting a 2nd channel, for shorter videos, maybe with less planning or editing. Maybe even with more of a focus on travel. Travel snippets or little reactions. Bloopers. Just a thought, since you spend so much time travelling. With a rugby focus, maybe you sometimes don't get enough time to talk about the sights you've seen and the things you've experienced on all your journeys. And I particularly like these elements and the way you try to bring them into the rugby conversation. Just wonder if there is more that is left unsaid at times. Great channel Tim, well done. Really pleased Sititi is starting and finally we get WJ at fullback, he needs to get a decent run of games there, I hope Ruben Love at least gets on the bench during the Bledisloe. Ratima starting is a sign of the future and when Roigard is back I think we'll have plenty to build on at 9. Kiwis are hard taskmasters and a loss this weekend will see Razor really cop it but I always thought his first year was going to be really tough with this schedule. Even if we lose against the Boks this weekend, we'll be looking forward to the 2 tests in NZ next year against them.

Awesome that you've seen so many great places in SA - but you haven't even scratched the surface - Next trip you must try to get to some of the Transkei, Karoo, Northern Cape, Limpopo, Mpumalanga. SA is spoiled with natural riches. Even the Free State has its moments!

Tim Capetonian here....if you like the Western Cape so much you are going to LOVE NZ and its people(although i have a slightly diminished view of the people of late now that i have followed their reactions as recent "losers"). NZ has to be the most beautiful country in the world...especially the south island. I spent 8 weeks there in 2011 so was priviledged to immerse myself into the way of life for a unique exposure of all things NZ. You have to make a lengthy visit your priority.

NZ has been ruined by all the immigrants. Best to stay away. Try visiting CapeTown where you'll spend most of your time looking over your shoulder like I did.

I like this line-up! I reckon this is Razor going with his personal instinct to do the opposite of Rassie and play specialists in their positions. The only exception here is Sititi, who’s been playing more 8, but he is the ball-carrier they need. Barrett is more valuable off the bench than starting, I think he should own that role. Really looking forward to it.
And come to the South Pacific! Fiji for a Drua match would be wild. Maybe Eden Park, then visit some of the rugby heartlands like Taranaki, Canterbury…

I'll never forget my first festival, street parade in Auckland, the highlight was a phalanx of Masport lawn mowers.
I was totally confused, I thought their sheep did that job.

You are one of the best rugby pundits, serving this great game. Thank you for your balanced and unemotional commentary. The NZ lot, by contrast, are contaminating the game and rugby world opinion about NZ in general.

Thats right. The first game showed this team will be great in a couple years. I thought Narawa style of play would be perfect against the Boks unless he's unwanted or injured. I sense an upset finally happened this weekend.
