Tim, as a Kiwi I love your podcast, it’s great to hear a different voice to what we hear here in NZ…..you are VERY balanced in your observations, it’s great!!!!
I think your boyys will take this one. You were unlucky last time, same as 2023, and we're overdue a hiding from the old enemy. Even though I'll probably regret saying this, it's great to see the men in black being led by an elite coach again. Robertson really does know what he's doing. The changes he's made for this test alone proves that.
Tim, as I much as I absolutely love what you do for rugby, holy smokes would I enjoy a travel show with you as the host. Enjoy SA, my man, and I can’t wait to see what you do for your next trip abroad.
Look, Tim. We can tell. I think it's high time you had a conversation with your family. Come on, buddy, we _know_ you want move here. We'd be happy to have you.
Tim, you have only scratched the surface of what SA offers. Besides the spectacular vistas, the people are really the best. You will always feel very welcome by everyone. You still owe me a golf game! That would have been another experience. Playing at one of the best golf courses in SA (De Zalze) must be on your bucket list.
That last 25 minutes and injuries is the reason for this selection. They want to finish strong unlike last week. Good luck to them. Excited to see what Dr Rassie will do next.
Rassie names early squad with a change later on. Media goes crazy. Rassie releases team the normal release date the media goes crazy. I absolutely love how deep he gets under the media's skin🫡
Mate, make sure you get out and do the Chapmans Peak Drive while you are there. I've only been to the Western Cape a handful of times in my life, but that always stands out to me as incredible.
Man.. as a 100% Bok man, I have to say that I love and respect the All Blacks. They are the true measuring stick for the bokke and us for them. Tim, thanks for your insights as always bud
Hey Tim,you must be careful...not long from now you live in Cape Town. Don't know if you've seen that when it's rugby season we have Bok Fridays. We wear our Springbok jerseys to work.
I'm proud of south africa we need to embrace this greatness , it's a true gift to our country , a spark was made and now there is a fire , let's push hard and gain inspiration from this . Love this channel
Be sure to take Clarence Drive back to Cape Town, probably one of the best scenic drives in the world. Ps looking forward to the Bokke team selection video. Great job as always
Fantastic Tim...Rugby fever in SA at the moment. An aside the Cape is a winter rainfall area so its green in Winter. KZN and the bush up North is paradise in Summer and plenty others. For what its worth, we are near 30⁰ in Pretoria today. Seasonal touring in SA changes the landscapes completely, all are beautiful. The Drakensberg and Mpumalanga will blow your mind in summer. The West coast is underrated with its arid beauty and vast spaces. Tropical to desert to cool wet Cape winters and green bushveld summers up North, it is all the World in one country... oh, and cheap as chips with fabulous people and an ardent rugby religion. Enjoy!
Love to see you here in the western Cape Tim! Enjoy your time here. Really appreciate you and your channel. I agree about the AB selection! This is very intentional! They are definitely not lying down! 😮
Glad to see you back to your normal chippa self mate 😎🤣 this is going to be an interesting one, I'm hoping Rassie is going to start Williams at 9 to counter Cortez with moodie on the wing and psdt at flank to flatten MacKenzie and barret when he's subed, Am at center and give Jessie a rest
I've been to Wellington to watch SA vs NZ in the Cake Tin (2014). Our tour package was a NZ tour in stead of a SA tour, but even so, the people in their black jerseys welcomed us with our green jerseys and were GREAT! I can wholeheartedly recommend you go there to watch a game next year!
This is of topic, but you seem to appreciate our country and it's landscapes and the raw beauty... That's why I would recommend going a little bit North, to the Namakwaland. It's about 380km to see the most beautiful natural phenomenon called "blommetjie tyd", which meens flower time. Only once a year, when we get enough rain, most dry and barren places explodes with flowers as far as the eye can see. Orange, purple, white, yellow... You must see that sometime in your next visit 😁👍
I'd like to recommend starting a 2nd channel, for shorter videos, maybe with less planning or editing. Maybe even with more of a focus on travel. Travel snippets or little reactions. Bloopers. Just a thought, since you spend so much time travelling. With a rugby focus, maybe you sometimes don't get enough time to talk about the sights you've seen and the things you've experienced on all your journeys. And I particularly like these elements and the way you try to bring them into the rugby conversation. Just wonder if there is more that is left unsaid at times. Peace and love, thanks for all this top quality content.
As an ABs supporter, I think the changes are a good move, more outright attack in the back three and a faster halfback, and more experience coming off the bench to help close out games. On a side note, please do come out to NZ we would love to have you, maybe the return games against SA would be good timing with the pacific nations competition as well

Great channel Tim, well done. Really pleased Sititi is starting and finally we get WJ at fullback, he needs to get a decent run of games there, I hope Ruben Love at least gets on the bench during the Bledisloe. Ratima starting is a sign of the future and when Roigard is back I think we'll have plenty to build on at 9. I'm optimistic we're on the right track, ABs forever.
Definitely. 2 away against the world champs is tough. Looking forward to seeing them in NZ next year. This looks like Robertson is using it as a chance to blood some young players against the best team in the world. Massive game for Wallace and Ratima. Vaai still seems a bit soft to be the starting lock. I think Darry would be better to start.
@@barneyboy2008 Agree better to start with Darry, I'm just wondering if they are giving Vaai the chance to really prove himself as a starter, he's been ok off the bench though. If the ABs can play a true 80 minutes this week they can win this I reckon.
Blackadder and Clarke both have minor injuries. TJ and BB are coming off the bench for experience to try and counter the bomb squad. Jordan swings between the wing and 15 when playing so it isn't a big adjustment, even though he has only started one international there - He has plenty of experience for the Crusaders at full-back.
yeah, Jordan was a fumbling mess when he switched to fb in the 2nd Argie match, though, hasn't been great lately, he's going to have to step up hugely.
