5:06 A 2024 PC release is not a 2019 PC release. Microsoft killed Windows 7 in 2020. Nvidia stopped driver updates for DX11 cards at the end of 2021. While there would be some leftover fumes of that when a developer sits down in 2023 or 2024 to make a game it's going to require DX12 from top to bottom. Windows 10 64 Bit says it needs an Ivy Bridge processor but Haswell has AVX2 anyways so not a bad idea to say it's required. 8GB of ram is just a good idea for Windows in general.
I'm incredibly happy its finally coming to PC, but I'll definitely be waiting for sale. Had they remade it with rdr2's physics, graphics, crafting, shooting, etc. I'd be more than willing to pay full price, maybe after another 14 years we'll get that lol.
Expecting Rockstar to completely remake the original RDR from the ground up, but with RDR2 graphics and physics and game mechanics, is an absurd expectation - especially when they're already focused on making GTA 6. Remaking the original RDR like that would take YEARS AND YEARS, even if they weren't already focused on making a massive game like GTA 6.
i think the gtx 960 is for all those extra features they addes like those dlss, fsr, dx12 etc. and rtx 2070 for maybe 4k60 fps . coz in minimum requirements the amd gpu was the r7 360 which is like half as powerful as the gtx 960 and only has 2gb vram but prolly got chosen coz it supports dx12,
Friendly reminder that they're selling a better version of this game for $30 on Xbox _right now._ It includes the multiplayer and, IIRC, it doesn't require a R* login just to play. And going by the system requirements, it might unironically be easier to emulate the 360 or Switch version. (The PS3 version is incredibly hard to emulate.)
I'm more of an Edgar guy than Ichiro, but go Mariners on general. That said, i prefer OG backyard baseball over any of the ones that brought in real stars xD

While I am concerned about it being a poor PC port, I have hope since the Switch port was good. I've just spent so much time playing Red Dead and Undead Nightmare on the 360 for me to justify the price. It's a game that I've wanted to play on PC for many years and now, I can without having to install emulators. Also, THANK YOU for telling us about the Backyard series coming to Steam. I had no idea! I'm gonna play that when I get home from work 😭
This should be 19.99 at most. Why? Because another game from the same console generation, is considered GOATed, legendary, a masterpiece etc from both critics, gamers and is also a naction adventure open world AAA game has that exact same msrp on steam. I'm talking about arkham city of course. So if everyone can put their personal bias for the game aside and look at it from a competitive pricing point of view, I like to think what i'd propose is a reasonable, consumer friendly price.
Not surprised at all. Did we not learn from their pa4 port??? The only thing I can say that will give the pc version more value is ofc more tweaking with graphics but the most important thing is mods. If the game is modded with cut content or new content added. It’ll be worth it to me or potentially a fivem server
This just means I won't be buying this for another year until it's on sale for the price that it should have been at launch. This should have been no more than 20 dollars.

The price tag is definitely a major negative. I'd pay that day 1 if the multi-player was intact.
I was so excited for this..until i saw the price tag
Backyard Basketball was my shit as a kid, and eager for that above all else
I was actually considering getting the game when i saw the trailer then i saw the price... Rockstar can keep the game. 50$ for 2010 game is crazy
Remaking the original RDR like that would take YEARS AND YEARS, even if they weren't already focused on making a massive game like GTA 6.
i just realized that it's getting released one day before my birthday
i think the gtx 960 is for all those extra features they addes like those dlss, fsr, dx12 etc. and rtx 2070 for maybe 4k60 fps . coz in minimum requirements the amd gpu was the r7 360 which is like half as powerful as the gtx 960 and only has 2gb vram but prolly got chosen coz it supports dx12,
Why tf is there a HZD remaster?
The regular version already can be played in 8k on ps3 emu
I wonder if it has a framerate cap considering if you go over 60 with emulation it breaks some physics in the game
That said, i prefer OG backyard baseball over any of the ones that brought in real stars xD
lets just hope the recommended specs are to play the game at 16K res with 240 fps
im not going to an abandoned gamestop or yardsale to buy red dead 1 for ps3 to play it at sub 720p resolution 30 fps with aimbot in 2024 so i hope they get it together
30 bucks for this would've been a pretty easy sell for me. 10 dollars lower than a full priced AAA game is outrageous
The mods are gonna be insane im betting a rdr 2 in rdr 1 mod which would be cool for undead nightmare
You know Joe gushing about backyard baseball was nice. Maybe be a decent idea to talk about awesome games on Pc or coming to Pc.
I'm gonna play that when I get home from work 😭
as a pc gamer i have rdr1 on xbox so i wont buy it until its 10$ max and play it on my console at 30fps rather than pay 50$
Actually the processor they demand for recommended is 4 generations higher than red dead 2
Wow that’s step for a very old game that’s just been ported…
That’s BS
Not surprised at all. Did we not learn from their pa4 port??? The only thing I can say that will give the pc version more value is ofc more tweaking with graphics but the most important thing is mods. If the game is modded with cut content or new content added. It’ll be worth it to me or potentially a fivem server
I'll just wait for it to go on sale or keep an eye on G2A
i was hyped, but for $50.. hell naw
Also no multiplayer WHY ROCKSTAR JUST WHY
Didn't they already release this on PC forever ago? A/B and X/Y are flipped on the version I have, but it's not a big deal.
Man they can’t get mad if Tons of people start pirating lol
didn't rdr2 have denuvo on launch ?
@@siddharths4676 Not denuvo but Araxan protection.
I'm still upset we didn't get a remake, 80% of the work is done
Alexander Hamilton is on the $10 bill. Toodles.
This just means I won't be buying this for another year until it's on sale for the price that it should have been at launch. This should have been no more than 20 dollars.
its amazing to me how getting a game for free makes me like it more than those who overpay, idk why people buy PC's if they arent going to dig deeper than rockstar launchers or steam stores, THE POINT OF PICKING YOUR HARDWARE IS SO YOU CAN PICK YOUR SOFTWARE, JUST DONT PAY FOR IT MAN THATS ALL YOU GOTTA DO, ITS SO EASY TO STEAL FROM THESE AWFUL COMPANIES!
Brooo backyard baseball was my shiiiiiiiii back in the day lol
Afaik the specs are for 4k60fps dunno why they didnt write it there tho
Oh look at that the high seas
