I live in CO, and my go-to vacation is DISNEY! I own DVC, but Disneyland was the place I visited 3-4X a year. Airfare is cheap, direct, and easy (I fly into SNA or LGB). Uber is like 15 minutes and cheap. I usually stay at a good neighbor hotel for under $200 a night and once a year a Grand Californian where I HAD 100 pts. But I am making the switch and will be vacationing at WDW from now on. Disneyland offers no real DVC incentives. No Annual Passes, no refillable mugs, no real AP or DVC discounts (10% only), etc. DVC at WDW offers a great AP and lots of hotels to pick from. Anaheim - DL is the superior place, IMO, and here is why. The weather is better. You will never have to worry if it will ruin your vacation! The talent is superior. Hollywood baby! All the talent comes to SOCAL to try to find fame and fortune; many get jobs as dancers, characters, singers, and parade folks at DL. You rarely have screaming littles next to you in line because 75% of DL's visitors are local and usually adults. The food is fantastic, and the steps per attraction are so much less that I never have aching feet or blisters!
