If they just got rid of the accrued interest, that alone would help a lot of ppl.
That would be amazing!!! I don't mind paying my loans back, but that interest is a killer!!
I am a lot of people 😂 but seriously!
I have 3 borrowers' defense applications. The 1st 2 were 2018, and they were denied. And 1 in 2022. In 2023 they opened the ones from 2018 back up. So now I have 2 open applications. They forgave them and I received a refund check. Most of my payments went to my FFELP loans because the rates were higher, so I don't get a refund for those payments.
Is there an Application process ?
How do we get walked through this I’m a teacher and about private loans

Is there a website to apply ?
You mean studentaid.gov?
Tbh the Biden plans are not helpful in every case. I was better off staying on my initial repayment public service plan because if I got on any of the Biden plans I would have been paying 2.5x my current payment amount.
