I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the memorial and I’ll say from start to finish it felt like a funeral. From the very beginning when they showed all the videos to the ending when they showed Dear Basketball. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the entire place. Rip Mamba, thanks for all the memories my dude!

I just think that at Kobe's peak Kobe was a little bit more fluid and versatile than MJ was at his peak. I watched both of them play growing up and to me Kobe had become just a notch better than MJ. Just a notch. And the way Labron walks and the way Labrons body is built, Labron could never be as fluid or as versatile as Kobe or MJ was. His body wont allow it. LBJ doesn't have the body type for it. look at Labrons legs and the way he walks.. his knees.. yeah LBJ is big and powerful but he lacks fundamentals.. Labron is a good player but to me he's not even comparable to masters like KB or MJ. stats dont mean shIt and most of these kids today don't even know what I'm talking and when i mention the word fundamentals in regards to b.ball
I've watched MJ and I've watch Kobe and I would say MJ all day prime vs prime. Fundamentally sound, doesn't force his shots unless necessary. And uses the triangle efficiently.

Better shooter, perhaps; better player, no way. KD is a beast but he didn't win until he joined a 73 win team full of talent & all stars. Jordan only needed Pippen & that was it. I've seen a 38 yr old MJ posting up a prime Dirk and scoring with rainbow fade aways and up and under. I've seen a 39 yr old MJ consistently get by a prime KG off the dribble. So if an out of prime MJ can score against these young taller more athletic players? Imagine a prime MJ would do.
