Morger, after an off-screen training arc, has gained new insights on his Warlock powers. Ready to test them out, he went to the Knights of the Flame, hoping for another Centaur dungeon to flood with centaur blood. Instead, they sent him to some farmhouse, and it turned out to be a false report of Giants.
In fact, the only giant thing he found was the farmer lady’s giant clothes piles. However, he found out about her plight; New York apartment sized bedrooms, and decided he could forgive her. Following this, he accidentally angered some guards, and they somehow kept on coming despite the rural setting. In his escape, he saw many powerful and terrifying monsters that he hadn’t seen before, jumping him and fading to nothing before he could counter attack, and the darkness was rising around him as he was attacked by monsters all through the night, until in the morning when he was caught. He cried, “Your honor! I am not guilty! I am a giant slayer, and am righteous!” But the court laughed as they sent him to jail. Then, he woke up in a mild sweat. It was all a dream…
Sighing in relief, he returned to the Knights of the Flame, and received an honorable quest; putting the dead to rest. When he showed up to the burial grounds, he heard a familiar ghostly moan of, “Veengeaance.” It turns out that the grandmother of the client had been raising the entire lineage. This was of no concern for Morger, however, as he knew that he could safely grave rob without raising concern, for if it’s undead, it’s fair game. However, the design of the dungeon was indeed terrible, for he had to climb 37 flights of stairs consecutively. However, he had a plan for such a situation; immaculate tunes. He put on his air pods and blasted free bird, then continued to fly high.
After finding… oh shoot, it was a rat. Anyways he found a strangely solid pillory, which took him for a loop. Morger then roasted the undead of the dungeon for their weak backs. They could never carry as much as Morger. This was followed by his debut as a freestyle rapper. His disses were on point, and his rhythm good. However, a magically locked door cramped his style, so he beat on it for a half hour. Then, he decided to take a rest, thinking of the mommy mummy he was searching for.
Yeah, so the farmhouse thing was an understandable mistake. The game’s name generators aren’t always helpful, as you were at the “____ farmhouse”, but where you should’ve been is the “ruins of ____ farmhouse.” It’s a bit confusing, so you’ve gotta double check when it comes to names like that.
Magic locks are for the most part only openable with a spell. There can be ways to open them, but it’s not likely, or easy to find with dungeon generation.
Also, gotta love how nonsensical these dungeons get. You went underground, only to climb 37 flights of stairs, and still be underground lol
