Ron Cadillac was played by Jessica Walters real life husband Ron Leibman. He passed away in 2019 so seeing them reunited on screen watching the sunset is such a lovely and poignant tribute for both actors and the perfect way to say goodbye

For those who hadn't picked it up because you're not worryingly obsessed with this show like I am, lol- Mallory's last two lines:
"If I see this glass empty again, I'm going to be very unhappy" and "Infinitely better, now" were recycled lines from previous episodes. This isn't a bad thing, or lazy writing. In fact I believe it to be a purposeful tribute to her character.
We get one last glimpse of her entitled, yet unrelentingly strong nature with her telling the guy serving her drinks to not let her glass get empty again. And also the romantic companionship between her and Ron, who she is _retiring_ with by using one of the first lines she ever said to him on the show. Ron's line "how's my lady love?" is also the same thing said from the first episode he appears in.
Both amazing voice actors gone and remembered through their characters. R.i.p.

I have been rewatching season 1 - 11 over and over for the past few months, and finally gathered the courage to watch the last season with Jessica Walter. I have been putting this off for some time as I never wanted it to end. What a wonderful send off. Absolutely beautiful. I can’t stop crying, I am a babbling mess.
    Finally back together at last.
    RIP Jessica and Ron.

Unfortunately sad circumstances but I really wasn't expecting the episode to end on such a sad yet beautiful note. The way the note was written to both her sweet Sterling and also to us the adoring audience, the way archers voice breaks, showing us her and Ron enjoying the rest of their days drinking cocktails. Didn't see it coming and it left me a total wreck. RIP Jessica Walter, you will be truly missed. "Infinity better now"

I had a lump in my throat and could feel tears coming, seeing them both on screen watching the sunset was quite symbolic. Not only has the metaphorical sun set on their career but also on their lives, so beautiful and an amazing send off done right. No hasty off screen death told about on a phone call or email rather a quiet and believable departure. To the writers of archer you guys have done a great job bringing closure to their respective characters and honestly created one of the most respectful and heartfelt moments in recent tv history, archer will never be the same without malorie or ron but they will continue to be immortalised both in the show and in our hearts. Rest in peace Jessica Walters and Ron leibman 😔
