Archer is an FXX original animated, half-hour comedy. The new season revolves around the international spy turned hardboiled private eye Sterling Archer and his quest to find his partner’s killer in 1947 Los Angeles.
The case proves to be more difficult than expected after Archer quickly gets mixed up in a deadly game of tug of war between Los Angeles' most powerful crime bosses. Every clue leads Archer further away from his goal and deeper into a mystery involving kidnapping, prostitution and drug addiction.
The series features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin as the incredibly vain private investigator, “Sterling Archer;” Jessica Walter as the veteran crime boss and nightclub owner, “Mother;” Aisha Tyler as the sexy lounge singer and Archer's crush, “Lana Kane;” Judy Greer as the clueless heiress to a vast publishing fortune, “Charlotte Vandertunt;” Chris Parnell as a crooked detective hell-bent on seeing Archer dead or in jail, “Detective Lieutenant Figgis;” Amber Nash as Figgis' partner and occasional muscle, “Detective Sergeant Poovey;” Adam Reed as the saucy band leader, “Ray Gillette;” and Lucky Yates as the club's bartender/heroin dealer/Nazi scientist, “Krieger.”

George Coe was so perfect for this part. He had some of the most absurd lines and he sold them like it was all totally normal.
I never connected the actor who played Woodhouse with the one that played Ben Cheviot in 'Max Headroom' all those years ago.
Now we have to watch another video like this soon. Rip George and Jessica.

JayTelo Sir, I say this with no sense of sarcasm or malicious intent. If what you just told me is true. Which this is the internet, if you would please understand my trepidation. I have nothing but the deepest sympathy for you and your situation.
I have been lucky. I have (so far) avoided having close friends and family die. It's a fortune I too often take for granted and I apologize for that. The only piece of advice I could ever pretend to offer is this. We define who we are and how we feel. We wake up, every day we're able, and decide. We choose what will let our minds dwell on and how we handle those thoughts. That level of pain is something I can't even fathom. Losing that much and that quickly in life.
All any of us can ever do is try to be as happy as we can from cradle to grave. A lot of that is choice and a lot isn't. Don't let yourself be ruled by the things you never had any control over. Don't take for granted the positives you do have and never relinquish your happiness to anyone or any thing. It is yours and yours alone. To give it away is to deny yourself your humanity. Even your family would understand that your happiness doesn't belong to them.
With that said, I am so very sorry. I wish you the absolute best in life and I hope you're drinking single malt you beautiful bastard. Also, if you're lying, eat the largest of dicks you shitheaded fuckstain. :D

damn bro, even though woodhouse wasn't a main main character, he was still amazing and greatly complimented the show. For such a small role, the show still wouldn't be the same without him. Rest in peace Mr. Coe.
So THAT'S why the one season wasn't voiced by him, and after that, he had very few lines in Vice! It's a shame, I loved his voice and how he played the character. He will be sorely missed. A lot of excellent talent passing away lately, it seems.

there better be a whole episode about him passing and archer comeing into terms about how he treated him and archer stands in front of his grave with a emoshinal montage of him in archers life then archer says some kind one last goodbye with a insulting pun in the end and then he walks away in the rain and a sad song playa in the background and a small montage everything woodhouse did and then a in memory of the voice actor.

I've seen George Coe in so many films and shows since the 70s. His role as Woodhouse was awesome, well-trained actors w/humor and range aren't as much a commodity anymore, he will be missed.

I just found this. Woodhouse finally gets that well-deserved vacation, just too bad it happened like this. RIP, George Coe-you played the best beaten-down butler-nanny with a heroin habit and WWII service.
He was pretty much Archer 's only father figure. He took alot of abuse from Archer because he understood where it came from , his psychologically abusive mother and his mostly absent father.
He really did love Archer like his own son. 😔

I'll admit, no idea what the actors name was, but when I read it was the guy who voiced Woodhouse.... Man.... He is one of my favorite characters, so upbeat despite everything Sterling does to him.

The Burroghs line is in refrence to William S Burroughs who shot his wife while she was balancing a water tumbler on her head as her husband aimed a handgun at it.
Burroghs Wrote Naked Lunch along with several other plays and novels and was a big time heroin user.
