Just installed my faucet this morning after watching your video. I found that using an O2 sensor socket with extensions and a ratchet to remove the old nut holding the faucet on is much easier than trying to use a crescent wrench or pliers.

The plate is only to cover extra holes in a 3 hole sink.

My Owofan faucet has the split nut for mounting, which will not stay tight. Is there an option to get a nut without the split? What size would I need?

I was just measure the pipe and see if you can get one at Home Depot that will tighten down
