  • "-Myself-", 2002.
Die≠Spyz formed in 2000. In April of 2001, the group released its first demo, which was self-titled, although shortly after its release, drummer Takeshi left. He was immediately replaced by Sho, and Die≠Spyz would release two more demos throughout 2001. In May of 2002, Die≠Spyz released their first mini-album "-Myself-", and soon after, released their fourth demo, "Rush". The album would prove to be a slight success for the up-and-comers, although despite that, bassist Koji would leave in the fall of 2002, and eventually be replaced by Shige. In early 2003, the group released its first single "Night Game", which was live-distributed only, and Die≠Spyz would go on to tour throughout the remainder of the year extensively. In March of 2004, Die≠Spyz released their second single "Lonely Night", and later released their second mini-album, "Higher Overdrive", in April of 2004, although shortly after its release, Die≠Spyz would have yet another lineup change when Sho and frontman Shin both left. They would be respectively replaced by the summer by Toru and Nobu, although Toru would also leave Die≠Spyz by the end of 2004. Instead of replacing him, the group would go on as a trio, and tour a bit throughout 2005, but noticeably cut down activities tremendously that year. In 2006, however, Die≠Spyz would return with the release of their third single "Silent Hill no ue de... (Silent Hillの上で...)", and the release of their third mini-album, "Edge", although the album would have poor sales, and the group would then play lives sporadically for the next few years until unsurprisingly disbanding in 2011. The only member of the group who remained active in the underground music scene was Nobu, who retired from the visual scene and instead started his own project, Hen-Shin, which would fold after a few years. He would then retire from the underground music scene in general and become a businessman, launching the company Hen-Shin, named after his solo project, which he is still the head of today.
