I'm 55 and am all about quick and easy! LOL! I found primers on eye really help keep eye makeup on. I don't wear a lot of foundation since I work in the healthcare industry in housekeeping. I also use brown eyeshadow and a brush for my eyebrows. It actually looks better than eye brow pencil. I even got a compliment from my mother about it, and that is saying something! Great video! You look very nice!!! I've learned that as a mature woman, less is actually better.

That was very helpful! I’ve never used primers in my life (I’m 65!) but I think I’ll start now! Do you have any tips for applying mascara to the lower lashes? I’ve never managed to do that without smudging.
Hi Sheila, we recommend not dipping your mascara wand back into the tube before applying to your bottom lashes. So do your top lashes first, and then use the residual mascara to do the bottom lashes. You can also use a slight wiggling motion to keep the lashes dynamic and not stiff and clumpy. The best advice for removing any smudging mistakes is to take a cotton wool bud dipped in a little of your foundation and just 'erase' any mascara that gets on your face. Some experts say a teaspoon then its stops it smudging although I have never tried it also a teaspoon spoon put in the freezer for a few minutes to get rid of eye bags.
You have a pretty face but I think you doing yourself a disservice with swath of dark across the whole lid (and above). This has a receding effect (not great for mature eyes) and there’s no pleasing contours with just dark colors. Also, extending the dark beyond the outside corners doesn’t give the effect of a wider eye. It looks like misplaced shadow.

It’s the first time I have seen the clips and the colours you have chosen look very nice. I do use Clinique foundation and try and look after my skin at 75 but not so adventurous with the eyeshadow as you have done yours so shall put it to test now I, have seen your tips.
