Peugeot 307 1.6 HDI engine / turbo sound

A few revs (3k) of a Peugeot 307 1.6 HDI
"mostly" stock engine and turbo
Exhaust system is none dpf 2.5" back box delete only

what makes the turbo flutter like that?

the throttle closing means the air forced back out of the turbo.
and open airbox mean it escapes freely
