@@peted3637 lovely engine when sorted very smooth and can handle some good power Sadly this one had been neglected how ever it's still ran perfectly fine just had a horrible clicking sound. But it's such a common problem I can recommend people buy them unless they are willing to spend the time and money

its mostly down to the toyosport exhaust the map is more of a software update and dosnt actually affect the sound

TPS probably has dead spot, most likely and will not always through a code.

@@dillinpicklesworth5698 You are right. I got a new tps and that solved the issue. But there is a new problem. Every time I put my foot down, code p0123 comes on. High tps voltage. I checked the tps output voltage and its at 5.05v at full throttle. Input voltage is also 5.05 so tps is fine. Is the ecu giving out high voltage and not accepting the full power back?

@@AzanAli- did you recalibrate the new one, I'm not sure what the procedure is for your particular car, but it is adjustable clockwise/counterclockwise a few degrees and it sounds like yours is hitting WOT before actual WOT, and going a few degrees beyond,try turning it a few degrees in same direction your throttle blades open.

@@AzanAli- ok, your tps should read 0.5 volts closed and 4.5volt WOT, adjust with closed for 0.5 (key on acc) ground to battery and read red wire on tps, once you have 0.5 volts, lock it down and your done. Hope this helps 😁👍💯

no there is no check engine code with this fault idle air assist valve

yes how ever it would never have a normal ideal till i did this after doing this idle is restored to 700 rpm

Wait my idle speed is at 1100rpm when in park will this solve my problem.

Im currently experiencing this but its in a k24 s2k but I have a different intake manifold

@@Suki-automoto My car's manual doesn't strictly say Shell or Mobil or Total or Castrol or Eneos or any manufacturer, that's why I got confused... I drive a hyundai tiburon/coupe but it has the same G4GC engine 2.0 (143hp)... Thanks for the answer

@@Suki-automoto I have 407 1.6 hdi When i hear how engine knocking, i know that you have problem ih head of engine, you can hear tak tak tak tak tak in idle, listen on youtube, with low milage 1m6 hdi engin sound, after a lot od exploatation, start's knocking louder and louder, you have also, chain for chamshafts, that need to be changed.. Smoke was normaln ahahha, i know

never had the car plugged in so cant tell you.

the engine on this car was perfect thats how that naturally sound the smoke is an effect of the DPF re gen.

egr valve worked perfectly fine.

the throttle closing means the air forced back out of the turbo. and open airbox mean it escapes freely

the dpf is in place a back box will take the woosh sound away as it goes over the baffles

the sound isnt much different front or rear of the car please see 307 driving videos for more sound

Dan Oha it's just a 1 meter long 2.5 inch mild steel pipe welded to a peugeot exhaust flange and hanged using threaded rod welded on to the pipe cost about 15 gbp

No the DPF is still there and its just a 2.5" pipe no back box

+Braidan Moriarty It is a custom built exhaust using a toyo 4 2 1 manifold a high flow cat and 2" link pipe in to a sportex back box witch had a 4" tip witch was removed and the back box exit corrected and a 2" stainless pipe welded on
