Talk about chills, On the US and Them tour I managed to get front row center (a dream from my childhood) he came down and shook everyone's hands. My problem was once I locked in the handshake. I would not let him go. Lol
The entire show was phenomenal, but this was a highlight for me. Hearing this, sheep, in the flesh, run like hell, and Roger’s newer solo stuff was really special
I was at this opening night and this one easily one of my highlights, this has always been my favorite half of SOYCD and hearing this live and up close (similar to this view) was transcendent

Jon Carin is propably playing lap steel solo. Interesting that Roger didn't included David on the band photos, because David created this solos and riffs originally. Interesting way of projecting images with lcd monitors in a form of a Christian cross. Very original. A sorrow that awaitsvthe a Christian televised civilisation. Powerful ideas, Roger.

Just seen the show in Detroit it was okay. He does lip-synch quite a few of the songs you can definitely tell the songs that he is singing live. One of the guitar players sings two or three of the songs. This song Roger is lip-syncing.
Roger's shows have always eclipsed David's shows. I saw Roger on his own for the first time with Clapton in 1984 for The Pros & Cons Of Hitchhiking tour. I've seen David's Pink Floyd a couple of times and it was good but never as great as Roger's shows.

First show I saw in '84 there was no stage show or special effects, just a black stage and all the band members dressed in black .. they played 90 minutes of Floyd, took an intermission and then plays the Pros album in it's entirety. It was better than any show I've seen David put on. I call it David's Pink Floyd because David was always too scared to stand on his own, Roger never had that problem.

Two bassists are on stage. I could play the exact bass part single handedly myself . What are we really getting here? The Guitar solos are note for note copies of Gilmour's parts. The Wall solo Concerts in 2013 were excellent but I am becoming sceptical about this cash grab.

At his The Wall concert a few years ago he had 3 backing bassists. That is what you have to do to get a studio recording sound live.
