A lot of GB Fans had a problem with this movie because they said that the Fire Master bit looks too silly and It doesn’t fit in Ghostbusters, and to be honest, I honestly don’t mind the Fire Master bit in the movie. One Ghostbusters Fan could argue that there used to be original ghost catchers before the Ghostbusters in ancient times. if there was a prequel, I would call it, Garraka a Ghostbusters Story.
Seriously? We had the ghost of a freaking Warlock in Ghostbusters II and fans take issue with the concept of a firebender? Magic has already been confirmed to exist in the Ghostbusters world, and this isn't the first time alternative means of "ghostbusting" has been shown either. Even in the Cartoon shows there were other "Ghostbusters" from the ancient past who dealt with evil spirits with magic and ancient weaponry and sometimes the boys and girls in grey needed some magical help when the proton guns proved ineffective. I rather like the idea they teased here of there having been other "Ghostbusters" in ancient times who used elemental magic and artifacts to contain evil spirits like King Solomon with the rebellious Djinn and it makes perfect sense for it to exist in the movie universe and it fits like a glove in a series full of lovecraftian horrors who turn into marshmallows and rivers of pure concentrated evil slime. Talk about nitpicking right?

Also have you seen the Ghost Lord’s design in that new vr game, and other Characters? Like they get crazy, and he’s considered a ghost.

The crossovers they unleashed, we got Batman/TMNT, TMNT/GHOSTBUSTERS, BTTF/TRANSFORMERS, GHOSTBUSTERS/TRANSFORMERS...with the best one being the one you mentioned "Crossing Over", a massive crossover event with every Ghostbuster character ever made teaming up to save the multiverse from supernatural havoc. They were indeed the best.
I love the scene where he appears outside of the Ghostbusters apartment is like his reflection in the ice which from the angle it's portrayed looks like a giant dot gets larger and larger than he just pops there.

Since Harold Ramis kind of made a cameo on "Ghostbusters Afterlife" as CGI when defeating Gozer, it's too bad the director here didn't make Harold Ramis as CGI again when defeating this ghost.
I know right. It's REALLY annoying. The battles with Gozer and Vigo are also 8 minutes tops, and people say this final boss battle with Garaka is too short? Give me a break!
I bet they will leave Phoebe in the firehouse again in next movie... I hope her personality will be less cold in the next one after all that warming up since Afterlife.. That ending was extreme and worrisome; the only firebender didn't seem to be enough for Garraka; if that thing gets out, only Gozer could have the power to send it back to the outerworld; and now out of the containment unit, there could be s'mores ahead...
They forgot Ghostbusters is a smart comedy about schlubby average joe ghost exterminators. The ghost catching was the backdrop and the actors and their comedic talent was the selling point.
