Never buy a fake EVH Kramer 5150 from China. It’s complete garbage. I tried to fix this pile of crap but it’s beyond repair that I can do. I bought a real Floyd Rose tremolo and it doesn’t fit their fake Floyd Rose tremolo. So I put the real Floyd Rose tremolo on my EVH 5150 guitar.
You know why it doesn't fit a real Floyd rose? Funnily enough the holes are drilled for the Floyd rose copy which has different dimensions to avoid copy right So duh it won't fit a Floyd rose Now do you know how much say it is to fix this?? Fill in the pivot pole holes with wood, matchsticks and glue, sand it back, re drill the holes at the correct scale length position and width needed to fit the original teen, and wham bam you have a great Floyd rose on an average guitar We all know these are average, but they are perfect if you wanna make it great because get a good stable one with good solid wood and construction and then you can make into a great guitar It's clear you are clueless about building guitars we are asking you for more demonstration and examples of the guitar not some bullshit about Corona virus

Yeah these replca's from China usually all look great but just know the hardware and electronics will need to be replaced. For me, that's perfectly fine on these "boutique" type guitars, it's about the paint jobs. I don't mind upgrading guitars anyway, it's kinda fun when you turn these cheap guitars into something really great
whatever you do dont buy one from china. i bought real floyd rose and it doesnt fit. the neck locking nut was just put on with cheap wood screws. i also got corona virus from the unboxing and my whole family got sick. chinese guitars arent even good enough to be firewood. dont buy chinese. they are not even good enough for a project guitar.

I still can’t believe that if you buy a real Frankenstrat you don’t get a case included . I payed 1400 for mine and was shocked when it turned up from the factory in a cardboard box with polystyrene packing .

Your right. I’ve scuffed it up a bit and put an EVH Floyd Rose tremolo on it. Now it’s been treated like Eddie Vanhalen treated his guitars so I’ve messed with it enough to where it stays in tune and plays pretty good.
mine wasnt well made. im glad that you had better made guitars and a better experience. im not positive my covid came from that guitar but it sure was suspicious to me. personally i will stick with USA made or made in Japan or korean or made in mexico. i wont knowingly buy anything made in china anymore. congradulations on your purchases. i hope they bring you lots of enjoyment. as much as i payed they shouldve been comparable to a 1500$ american made guitar but it wasnt even comparable to a 100$ cheapest strat beginner guitar. mine was total trash fire wood bought from DHgate online. i recommend to stay away from that sight.

Because there is no copyright law in China, Google US customs officers in America confiscating guitars, it’s happened & they still do it but it depends on a lot of things.
DHgate online is the website I bought it from. I recommend not to buy one of their guitars because the quality is awful and Im pretty sure I got corona virus from the unboxing.
I bought one and relicized it and hung it on the wall in the great room as a tribute to EVH, it looks fantastic! I would say they look great as far as art goes, but for playing I would spend the money and get a good quality one or build one yourself.
i actually fixed it quite well. i did what EVH wouldve done and i really surprised myself. its not pretty but its functionally perfect for what i expect from a guitar.
