I you do the side exit exhaust. If you dopiut the heat tape in the exhaust cover and wrap the side pipes. I'm sure you know that just giving you a reminder. I love this build. Thanks for doing it.
Yes I put side exhuast on every eleanor I build. I didn't cut the hole yet because I'm using a grille instead of a exhuast tip this time. The exhuast pipe will be behind the alluminum grille
I was rewatching this on TH-cam on my TV and the lines are awesome and for all you had to do with that fiberglass kit you bought off marketplace it's just amazing you can make it turn out like you do
@@MrGonein60 Me to. I would have buy it back. I miss it. Lot of memories. All the boys at Ford that helped me build it are gone now. Ill get 1 & bring it to you maybe some day. I want to build 1 like that yellow drag car. Tubbed out blower out the hood coupe.
@punkinsgarageandpaint8299 I've done I'm guessing 30+ coupe to fastback conversion if you only buy just the fastback specific parts and use your coupe package tray and rear seat you can get by with only spending around 4k dollars. Real fastback rear interior and the rear upper panel you will spend another 2k easy
I talked a couple of people into watching I don't know if they subscribed but it was on 67 68 mustangs only and another mustang site they said they never watched you before and they were amazed at all you do
I've been going through your videos on the first 67/68 Bullitt you posted and it was a beauty I'm going coupe back seat like you did what was the material you used where louvers normally go
@MrGonein60 man I have a pretty good bone coupe on my channel I'm rebuilding it's a Cali car with pretty much every option available I'm torn but can't beat the look of a fast back
I honestly like the coupes. However most people like the fastback. I'd suggest build whatever makes you happy at the end of the day. Don't cut it unless your absolutely positive. Maybe buy a cheap rough coupe to build.
@MrGonein60 well this coupe was gifted to from my dad only rust was underneath the battery tray wich I replaced the entire panel, I honestly like a fastback over a coupe but will probably run the car as a coupe for a year or two meanwhile accumulate the fastback parts in that time, I don't plan on selling the car at all so could care less about the dollar value or purity of the car, I have a few other projects so wife will probably not be so happy if another car shows up 😂
Nice “ what would be the market value of this car when your finished with the build “ I seen these go for $80,000 and up to more the $400,000 on the market
The top half has 4 1/4-20 bolts on each side plus green fiberglass filler. The lower nose is attached with green fiberglass filler to the fenders and bolted to the upper panel
We know you gotta make a living and you had severe heat plus poor downs of rain flooding your garage it sure set me back as well here in Missouri, good luck to you and I'll keep watching, take care of your health and we got better weather a coming
What you accomplished in your time frame nobody would complain about I think we all learned a lot thanks no worries
Gosh it's amazing the work you do. Car looks incredible.
Thankyou sir
That car turned out amazing ! Keep up the great work!

Thanks and I bet. That place stays busy but that's a good thing.
@MrGonein60 have you done many coupe yo fastback conversions? What is a average cost?

Thankyou. It's always fun to bring these old cars back to life.
Good luck on the rest of the build keep up the great work
I finished it. I show it on one of the other videos. Seems like video is called eleanor mustang build start to finish.
You should do a video on correcting gaps. It would be appreciated.
Yes. Never really thought about that. It is a major ordeal.
Looks good brother. Never give up

You are doing a very good job ... can you have a Mustang converted or commission it? Greetings René
I can
@@MrGonein60 how much would it cost?
@@ReneWeidlich-j5i all depends on the build. Lots of variables
@@MrGonein60 Can you do a compilation of how you did the gray Eleanor Mustang?
@@MrGonein60 I would like to have you build me an Eleanor, but I would need a rough price idea from you? Thank you for your feedback! Greetings René
2 thumbs up brother
Thankyou so much
Hello, so I wanted to ask do I buy regular 67 front fenders for the Eleanor clone build? It just looks different. Thank you for any help!
@@FingerJam12 they use original fenders
its just a lot of work , in 91 I painted my 68 as a first year apprenice , I figured about 600 hours over 3 months (after work)
Lots and lots of work
You did good getting your car running. I subscribed to your channel. Hope to see more of the stang.
Need to get that stuff out of your paint booth and let me get that El Camino
Not looking like booth will ever get finished
Smh we need to fix that
Very nice
Thankyou
Looks good. Have you built a fast back like the Bullet?
@joeharrington595 oh yes a few.
I don't care about the time line this thing came out killer
Oh yea. It's a good cruiser car. I actually repainted it pepper gray. I showed it 4 or 5 videos back.

probably would'nt use that name they have been taking peoples car's for using it looks amazing by the way

Want to sell it?
@@meachamny already sold it
Did you take the $1000 off you sold the fox body for LOL
Yes sir
A motor trans and rear end will cost you at least 12,500 what about the rest of the car
You did watch the video? I had 500 bucks in the drivetrane
Motor and trans came from 500 dollar foxbody donor car. Plus I build most my own engines and trans
Nason paint is bad neighbor painted his firebird didn’t last but a few years ago.
I used nason sealer and basecoat on the car however the Clear coat was a top shelf Sherwin Williams 4.2 urethane.
When you said it was over a hundred degrees I knew you had to be in Texas anywhere else you would have been complaining more.
That's a good one. I'm actually in middle tn. Weather has been pretty crazy lately
Don't speak that Name (Eleanor) because its copyright. She can come and take your car . Be careful with that.
Not anymore. She lost her copyright this past year
Hey man do you got a fb? Also keep making these videos! Love it
im fastback poor. none currently for sale though
