I love your videos ! You show clear easy to understand what your talking about. Plus the stuff you make is so awesome ! I’ve been watching your videos today for hours ! Yeah , I love them ! Thank you for teaching plus inspiring me. I’ve recently had to relocate and had to leave all my miniatures plus everything behind. I had collected miniatures for 30 plus years .I am starting over and it hasn’t been easy. I wish I had your steady hands. I’m disabled with a few things. One is hand tremors.Thank you for your great tutorials !
I'm so glad you're enjoying the videos Elisabeth and hope you'll be able to find a suitable, and comfortable way of working with your disability. Happy Miniaturing! xx
Oh my!!! Look at all your bits and pieces bin. You'll never have to buy wood again!! Just checking those bits would give me a thrill!! What an absolutely gorgeous wardrobe/armoire. Well, all of them are!! I'm going to give it a go, once I can get to Michael's to buy the wood. I've got everything else. I used to do a lot of woodworking with a bandsaw and making children's toys and such. But that was all on a different level both of talent and size! I'm absolutely addicted to your art and can only hope I can be even 1/4 as good as you!! Julie, where did you learn this craft and were you always a natural? I tend to be clumsy and working with pieces that small might not be my forte but I'll give it a go. There's always tweezers, right? Thank you for sharing your talent and know that it's much admired.
Thank you so much, Cheryl. I'm glad you're enjoying the tutorials. I taught myself, starting around 20 years ago! I've always loved dolls houses though and had my first when I was about 9! :)
That's wonderful piece--I can't wait to see it in place in your dolls' house. It's a pleasure to watch you work; you're so precise and meticulous, and the results reflect that.
You are truly an artist! This house is going to Be so beautiful. Thank you for the tutorials and sharing your projects with us. I'm excited about seeing the room finished!!!
I don't currently sell these, but will have some in stock soon. In the meantime, try searching online, most miniature stores and craft places sell them.
I use a normal household emulsion paint for my pieces - you can usually buy little sample pots from your local DIY store. The wood I use is called Obeche, but please have a look at my 'Tips for Working with Wood' video for other craft woods that are suitable.
Hi Julie, I’m new to dollhouses and have just found your channel. I’ve already binge watched many many episodes! Can you tell me the finished dimensions of this? I’m wondering if I can make it into a child’s wardrobe? I have an attic bedroom with low sloping ceilings. Thank you for amazing tutorials and such inspiration. Del
Hi Basia, I actually sell a good range of hardware in my Etsy shop, however, these particular handles have been out of stock with my supplier for a while. Do pop over and have a browse though. www.etsy.com/uk/shop/bitsandpiecesbyjulie
Hi Julie , i love your work , i tried to click on the etsy link so i can buy some of your items and it says , " UH OH! Sorry, the member you are looking for does not exist.
You do lovely work, but it seems your door / drawer pulls are over sized for the scale you are working in. None of my furniture (much of it is antique) has handles that take up so much space.
I use a wood called Obeche, which is available in my Etsy shop. Please also have a look at my video, 'Tips for working with wood', in which I suggest other suitable types of wood. Thanks.
Thank you Hennreitta. If you're buying the 18 inch sheets, probably start off with about 5 sheets of the 1/16 inch and go from there. I'm basing that on 1 sheet per two items of furniture. Hope that helps.
I offer dolls house furniture tutorials here on my channel and have spent many years building it up. Please use other outlets to advertise your own website.

Precioso!!!
I finally had the opportunity to make this piece. Thank you for great instructions. However, I still can not master your tiny drawers. LOL
Drawers are pretty tricky too! Measuring the opening before cutting your pieces certainly helps.
Um projeto encantador.👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏❤❤💋
It reminds me of a cabinet my aunt has in her house, only less complex and without the golden Chinese decorations.
I like the idea of Chinese decorations! :)
so precious. i llove it
Thank you Nancy.
I just love this piece, Julie. Another excellent video. Do you have any plans for future upholstered pieces?
Thank you Suzy. As soon as I can find the right fabric, I shall be doing a wing back chair and a low back sofa for my dolls house living room...
Beautiful!
Thank you Amanda.

Hi Delyth, I don't have the piece anymore, I'm afraid, but you should be able to work out the overall size from adding the pieces sizes together...
Where can i find the cut list for this piece? Love it. Its beautiful. Thanks
Oops...watched it again and found the list. Thanks Julie. Your work is so very well done.
I'm glad you found it. :)

Try searching online for 'Mitre Block and Saw', and you should be able to find an online store for them.
how do I do it so that the tables do not go badly aligned or cut badly that technique I use has some explanatory video so that they are well cut
Please have a look at my 'Tips for Working with Wood' video, which gives some advice on cutting.
you can send me the link to see it and follow it step by step
I meant to say Amazing
Have a look at the cutting list under DRAWERS. Numbers are off.
I always make the drawer a fraction smaller than the opening to allow them to open and close smoothly, as I explain in the video.
