      I agree wholeheartedly.. The advent of the Internet meant we could begin to really learn from the comforts of our own home.
      This man is so talented with his hands it beggars belief also. The way he changes old used pieces of wood or scrap metal into these beautiful pieced furniture is astonishing.

    I'm not a merch guy, so I can't support you in that way, but here's a few bucks for this video because all of your content is a real treat to watch. I hope you never run out of ideas for how to take used materials and turn them into treasure. I can't look you in the eye, shake your hand and tell you how great of a job you do, but please know that we all appreciate the your herculean efforts. P.S.: The little break in the middle was hilarious and awesome. It gives a little insight to your personality. Thanks for that. I literally laughed out loud.

    Now you're just showing off *[lol]* 😉 and making most craftsman blush with envy/embarrassment, while at the same time making pallets everywhere
    *smile with pride,* b/c they know this "beauty" was once seen as mere utility wood, and headed for the scrap pile. Nicely done Jason; *God bless.*

    I am a scavenger by nature due to the influence of my father, a child of the depression, never passing up a pile of wood, a broken down dresser, coffee table and so on. But you, my friend, are the king of taking what others consider nothing worth their time and effort and turning it into absolute beauty. You are King Midas with the golden touch indeed! The humble wood pallet lies often neglected and destined for the fire , yet deep inside its frame hides a world of possibility’s . The mighty oak tree can live for generations till it’s time is done , but if a true craftsman is found it can be reborn as a peace of beautiful furniture that to will live on . So why not indeed the humble pallet , but of course just as the oak it needs the skill of a master craftsmen . And that dear sir is you . Best wishes and kind regards as always 😀👍👍👍

    Yet again I sat avidly watching something beautiful rise from the displaced pallets and cast off wood panels, and sat in awe as this piece of furniture was created. The scene with the biscuits was extremal funny, and made the video even better.
    I really am in awe of your abilities in making these things, especially so when you even make the hinges and handles from scratch, creating the design, threading the posts, and having them fit perfectly into the doors.
    These videos are so relaxing, entertaining and instructive.

    I watch loads of videos by master carpenters/joiners, and I do learn a lot from watching/listening to their videos. You never say a word in your videos yet I learn twice as much because I don't have to concentrate on what they're saying, and, I learn by listening to the sound they tools make on the wood, it gives me a sense of how much pressure is applied and the quality of the tools. The most important lesson I have learnt from your videos is, easy does it patience is key to quality!

I was already impressed when I saw you hand cutting your own dovetails, but when I realized you were making your own hinges and hardware I could only think, "Who does that!? Almost anyone else would just go buy hinges and pulls and whatnot." Absolutely remarkable
    I should say I am also incredibly impressed with your degree of patience. I just previously watched your video for the Steampunk trunk with copper inlays and brads. Amazing as usual. You are one of the best woodworking channels on YT & you deserve to have way more subscribers! It's so nice to watch an actual craftsman making their art. Keep it coming!

    I really want to see inside your brain when you are designing these works of art. I'm Aussie so I love the "biscuit" joke. Sadly not all of our American friends will get it. :) You say "Thanks for Watching". I say thanks for sharing.

    Just curious, why do you use a hatchet to break the supporting blocks rather than prying the boards off?

    • @EpicUpCycling
      @EpicUpCycling  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does less damage to the boards.

      Far less likely to ruin the long boards by splitting them if you can break that big chunk off first and pound the nails out.
      At least that's what I've done
