Great tips! I have a very specific niche and in the last 30 days gained around 10% of my following to over 9,000 now. Hashtags have been a great way for me to find new followers and I've figured out what kind of posts they work for (which seems to have changed now not long ago). More recently I've been investing money into sponsored ads for consistent growth from a specific demographic that I want to reach more of. Those together are working pretty great for me at the moment!
Am a consistent watcher I watch all your videos every Wednesday while working I never have the time to comment but I do today because am going on vacation am from The Caribbean (The Bahamas 🇧🇸) I just moved to the US and currently live in Seattle, Washington

Hey Laura! Trending songs helps you get a lot of reach when you rank on them, but you'll also get a lot irrelevant followers, that you'll have to clean up later on. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help & serve you.

I’ve been really enjoying your videos and all your tips. I’ve tried a few of them and happy with how things look. I have been reaching new audiences and gaining new followers. However I have also gradually lost followers and the total number has gone down. 🤦🏼♂️
I’m also sorta starting again after a couple year break and content has slightly changed. So maybe I’m dropping dormant unimportant followers and gaining active ones who will engage in my content? 🤷🏼♂️
Oh yeh! This happens and it's quite normal, you just have to focus on growing more followers than you're losing. Some influencers are losing up to 4k followers per week but they grow 20k more. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help & serve you.
This month my reach has been pretty decent in comparison to past months since I love holiday content and I have gained quite a few followers; however, I’m wondering if my conversion rate of reach to how many followed is still low. That’s such a great question and one I’ve been asking myself lately! The more people you can convert to followers the better! I’d shoot for 3-5% to start💪🏼

Either works! One thing that has worked with creators creating contents with their native language and wants more people to appeal to Their contents, is they use English subtitles. That way everyone understands their contents. But if that doesn't sound ideal to you, I'd suggest you just create contents speaking English. I think people are like..But my dog is so cute! or But people want to support me, not just my business! But to me, I think all that stuff should be in stories or baked into business reels! That is part of the beauty of IG is that you can have long term content on your feed and short term content in stories! Plus you can archive and show off stories on your feed if they are special or milestones!
I’ve tried adding straight forward user names, has tags, sharing my post, having a theme and telling my followers straight forward what l do in my bio, yet my following, likes and shares are still not increasing. Could you maybe tell me what it is l’m doing wrong ❔
It comes down to your contents if it's sucks, you'll not grow no matter you do. So focus on creating better contents. Contents that demands your target audience attention aka enticing to click on. I'd suggest you do your market research and find out what contents works in your niche and model success, if it works for them it'll probably work for you too. I posted a reel as a colab. I got less interaction than ANY reel I have posted in the past. I am flabbergasted. It didn’t work at all and backfired on me.
So I haven’t been able to find this answer anywhere on TH-cam, but what if you want to just be an influencer? And not like a product based profile? I want to be known for being an inspiration, a positive light and someone that can help have a better mindset. However, I really enjoy food, so I’ve been posting more of me eating, going to restaurants and cooking. I feel like that’s where my overall niche lies, but I don’t necessarily have the statement “I help blank do blank” If anyone else would care to chime in I would love to hear your advice.
That's absolutely a thing! You don't have to be a product based profile. When I first started I literally was the same way, I'd say "I don't want to sell products, I just want to be an influencer and work with brands", which is what I did for a while. I think a lot of people get stuck thinking that "I help blank do blank" means you have to be "teaching". But you don't! I don't know if you noticed but you actually already wrote your "I help..." statement in your comment: " I inspire others and help them have a better mindset" BOOM. Take that and run with it! Everything else will fall into place 🥰
What if you have more the one niche to offer? Should you have your professional account labeled as “just for fun”? Or should you make more the one account to separate the niches?

That's absolutely a thing! You don't have to be a product based profile. When I first started I literally was the same way, I'd say "I don't want to sell products, I just want to be an influencer and work with brands", which is what I did for a while.
I think a lot of people get stuck thinking that "I help blank do blank" means you have to be "teaching". But you don't! I don't know if you noticed but you actually already wrote your "I help..." statement in your comment: " I inspire others and help them have a better mindset" BOOM. Take that and run with it! Everything else will fall into place 🥰
