This video is exactly what I needed. My first few burns I burnt out by my 3rd day bc I wasn't giving myself down time. These tips are brilliant. thanks :)
If you camp so you're facing out into the streets that go around the circle rather than the spokes of the circle they tend to get a bit less traffic as well (depending on how wide they are). I always feel like getting the perfect spot is such a lottery. Fingers crossed we all end up with amazing ones!
Have you seen the map has been released for this year now? burningman.org/event/black-rock-city-guide/2017-black-rock-city-plan/ time to start the great debate about where the ultimate spot to camp is! I'm always a sucker for street names and want to be on one with a cool name (and not one I can't pronounce properly!).
Thank you for this, I spent years living in Nevada (an introvert's dream) and always talked myself out of going to see the man because I envisioned it to be worse than a crowded, noisy restaurant for a whole week. You gave me some good coping strategies, hope to see you there soon.
we camped at 6 & H in 2016 and it was a perfect in-between of quiet and action. Ive thought to myself that I would like to camp closer to playa but I could totally see all the action getting overwhelming at times. great video!
Thanks so much! I'm glad the video was helpful for you. I think it's really hard being introverted at Burning Man but once you manage to chat to a few people (usually neighbours) it starts to get much easier. I hope you make it out there someday and that you have an amazing time!
Would it be possible to go to burning man during the day and evening but to drive back someplace to stay at a motel? Even though it would be a longer drive. I'm asking because I have chronic Pain and couldn't afford to rent an RV or if I could I couldn't drive it because I don't have a license.

I love your suggestion on where to camp..a block or two off of the outer ring. That's exactly what we're going to do.

Watching it on the Burning Man Live Feed is as close as I'll ever get.

Really liking your videos. Wish I could go to Burning Man one day, and I'm quite introverted, so this was interesting.
