Huh...Well so much for bringing my black powder charged feather boa, confetti and glitter shooting canon. And to think I was gonna christen it by smashing a bottle of champagne against it! .....Now I gotta find *some other* event where I can "express myself"!

Thank you. Very helpful, easy to understand video. Another video in how to prepare, what to bring, very helpful also. It is a dangerous environment, and it is nice to survive it, bring home just the positives. Let me know if you need volunteer help mates.

as far as no dogs goes ive seen dogs in videos from 2003 and in 2016 when I went I saw a dog walking with a blonde women on a leash. I think it must have been a service dog and the owner was def or blind because I said hi to the doggy and the owner didnt seem to recognize my presence
bottle vs can there is a taste difference. the can has a odor/favor that the bottle does not. :)

Not practical for Burning Man, but if you pour the can into a glass the weird taste will go away. Some plastic cups do not impart flavors or odors as well (but they are rare...you find one hold on to it).

Amber Howard someone without a ticket hiding somewhere in the vehicle, a stowaway will cause all people in the same vehicle to be unable to enter burning man.
Security! Let me be clear there is no security at the gate, only burners with another person(possibly a ranger, just a burner that's volunteers) could be wrong basically very little authority. But they opened my trunk looked for 1 second and let me in!
The rangers don't open small bags or anything but I'd imagine if they found drugs they wouldn't care.

No, while MMJ is legal in NV now, the event is held on Federal property and Marijuana and related products are still illegal federally.

I'm not being a punk but seriously
If you're vehicle is leaky then you should put a tarp or something underneath it so none of the fluids end up on the ground. You can get a fine from the BLM if you just let the fluids just leak all over the place. If it does happen then you should deal with the problem by scooping up the contaminated area into a bucket to prevent it from spreading further.
It's a leave no trace event so when you leave there shouldn't be anything left behind including things like spills!

Burners said must be " DISEASE- Free " , most important of them ALL . ORGY Dome staff has no testing kit or licensed personnel to handle this issue..

funny. where I live the EPA will fine you if you hav a small trash fire on your land. but in environmentally protected blackrock desert its ok for burning man to have huge fires every year . seems legit

One Burnjng Man a year is less than you and many others that will also burn trash. Strangely, in Australia, Sydney and Brisbane the places I've lived for 30 years in each rubbish (trash) burning is banned but you can burn a wood heater inside. In the last 20 years the smoke smell is very evident in winter.
Burning man isn't eco friendly and I'm sure it doesn't pretend to be, it's just as long as you don't leave litter it's all good for the most part. They even clean up ash, don't really like the extremist politics so I stay far away from that!

Rules like protecting animals and human health? Requiring you pay for your ticket? Responsibly protecting a government protected environment? Wow what a drag huh.

It's camping in the desert. So why bother entering the event itself? Just set up outside the compound and watch the freak show from afar.

The fact you can't take weed, when it's legal in a lot of states is quite weird. Just host it somewhere where they don't have those petty restrictions.
a cop needs a court order to look in my trunk...so why does a drugged out 'burner' have the right to do this? there are some things i consider private...illegal search and seizure...hello?
It's a condition of letting you in to what is actually a private event. Don't like it? Stay home.
pretty sure its vollutary. as in if you dont want to be searched, then you can go home.

You're entering government property to a public event and your buying a ticket and gaining entry, you are agreeing to search. Don't like it? Don't go.
