The Sith were well within their rights to be on Iokath, they had an alliance with The Commander. The Republic just couldn't handle not being the stars of the show and invaded.
@@hussainsultanzada6123 Because the Republic had infiltrated the planet with the express intent of finding a weapon to destroy the entire Sith Empire. The Empire's "invasion" of Iokath was a completely justifiable response to the Republics flagrant disregard of both their peace with the Empire and the Alliance. And the only excuse Malcolm gives is "But we're the good guys and the Empire is evil, right?" No, Malcolm, no you're not.
If I remember correctly didn't the Empire invade Iokath without permission before the Republic was there? I could be wrong, I only played it once, but I did side with the Republic and I'm usually the type to go with the more justified side... then again I could have been roleplaying as my former slave Sith Inquisitor, who experienced Sith politics, recognized the inherent futility of a nation built upon it and decided to defect to the Republic at the first chance...
I'm a bit mad that you can't do a full faction switch, I mean the infiltrator stuff is fun sometimes, but my inquisitor always wanted to join the Republic...
And my SW would've choose to join neither, lmao. Everyone v. Alliance players xD Or at the very least, NPC's should be neutral. In all seriousness tho, I don't think that'll ever happen. Neither switching nor going back and staying independent (which would make A LOT more sense for those characters who wouldn't want to keep fighting the same ol' war). But one can dream... and headcannonize.
The Commander: For the safety of the galaxy, Iokath is off limits to everyone. The Empire & Republic: Hah, who's gonna stop us? Too bad it was not possible to just conquer the galaxy on your own
I haven't gotten this far but didn't the Republic place bomb all over the base BEFORE we make a decision on who to support? Sure so did the sith but thats very sith of them to do that so no hard feelings.
Durese, also called Durosian, was the native language of the Duros.[1] Since the Duros were such prominent spacers and traders, Durese became a common interstellar tongue. It was an influence for Basic,[2] and most Duros were fluent in both languages.[1] Most likely, it was also the root language of Pak Pak. The Durese Writing system was a syllabary. From wookiepedia.

but they went without informing the Alliance and went in guns blazing.

@@CyberController- don’t get me wrong, I’m all for the Empire. The Sith all the way! But both sides were wrong and shouldn’t have even been on Iokath
@@hussainsultanzada6123 No, but the Sith being there was more reasonable and they at least apologize.
Acina's just the best.

A grey Jedi joining the Empire is probably the most potentially based character.

She is my favorite voice actress, she has this really subtle snark going on that bleeds into every line.
part of the reason I'm playing my consulars more and more
This popped up in my recommends just 10 minutes after doing this quest. Must be a force ghost in my machine lol.

I swear Dark Side republic classes have some of the best scenes.
light side empire is just hilarious, everyone expects you to be evil and is just totally confused what's going on😂
my two saboteur characters are becoming my favs (IA for imp, and of course this consular)
The Republic had a happy accident on Iokath.
they tried to kill me first!
Thank you for uploading one of my favorite scenes of recent content.
