As someone who has driven every Civic Si ever made, and has always owned an Si ever since I got my license, I purchased a 2025 Si last week at msrp. In one week I've done 1100 miles on it. I love everything about it. My only gripe is that it doesnt stay in sport mode when you turn it off. It lives up to the Si legacy very well. The Si has never been about numbers, its all about the driving experience. Hondas are always shit on paper but in real life, behind the wheel is where they shine above the rest.
OH nice! It's a good overall car for sure. My Type-R stays in Individual mode when I shut it off. Wonder if thats the only mode that it will allow to be a default. Not sure if the Si will do that then
Coming from a mustang gt 2019 I got the active exhaust performance package b&o radio sound system and the digital dash. I’m looking into the si a lot just not too sure. I’m kinda leaning towards a supra but with no remote start or anything it would more likely be a MT supra or the SI. My range is like $46k found a couple used ones for around $48-50k but idk just wanna get into something and don’t wanna be bored. I love blipping the throttle in my gt all the time when I test drove the supra you kinda get that with the sport mode and the cracks and burples lol. Just not sure don’t wanna get rinsed either when trading it in a 2 years either mustangs tank a lot right off the lot. These are more less depreciating if that makes sense in a way. Also you get the Honda pass which is nice for the oil changes and such for 2 years. Just love the 2 door life.
Also for $50k no heated steering wheel or app for auto to start the car makes me kinda sad for the money being spent and my $35k Mustang has those features
Toyota has Toyotaguard for oil changes, think it's 3 years. Supra is way more performance, lots of mods to do as I did with the 2 I owned. Just depends on what you like and if you need backseats.
Ok I just seemed your video again, and yes both the Si and CTR are both fine cars. As a current 10th Gen owner. The Si is a fine car at specific price point. I felt that you are comparing the Si to an another fine car the CTR too much. The CTR is not financially obtainable for some wirh nearly 15K price tag over the Si.
Yeah I have a video comparing the Si to the Type-R to show why the Type-R is worth the premium. I also have a video comparing the Si to the Elantra N-Line. Both same price and same performance. That'd be the best alternative to this car I think
@ for a commuter car brand i just think they look uncomfortable american cars like the dodge are praised for theirs and they only have buckets in their lightning mcqueen vipers

@@BrosFOURRSpeed no, it won't. Type R is different. I've heard it's because if.you shut off the auto stop/start.
@@fragilethissideup Interesting. TypeR doesn’t have auto start/stop. Wonder if there is any coding you can do on the Si

Lots of cars don't have remote start, so it's not uncommon to not see it. I've never had a need to use that feature to be honest.
Nice car!
It sure is!
No vtec ?
This or the hybrid?
Very different cars. If you want sporty and fun go Si. If you want efficiency and luxury go hybrid top trim

I thought the front bump was a 3 series m sport in the thumbnail hah i think its great for the price range if you can get it with a competitive APR
Yeah I can see that a bit! Nice car overall for the money
I’d go with a base WRX for that price . WRX is almost 100hp more and it looks way better than the Civic . WRX gives you AWD as well .
You know that Subaru is not offering WRX base anymore.
They don't have 2025 models online yet, but where did you see that?
Just depends on what you like and want.
@ if your a moron you will buy the SI lol
Who tf wnna drive a wrx in 2025
Over priced. The Si died when they stopped putting the K20/K24 in it.
Seems right on par with other cars in this class
@@BrosFOURRSpeedpeople cry overpriced but can’t seem to grasp that prices in general go up for everything
@@josephj1234567 exactly!
Overrated more like it. Boring car.
Yes! Im 100% agree. If they were to put the accord 2.0t on this car and get rid of the rev hang. Im sure a lot more people would buy it.
Well the Type-R is the exciting Civic. Si is a great choice without breaking the bank for something better then a basic car
those seats are abominable
What don’t you like? Seems like millions of people like them.

@@DestroyerEleven so you’ve never sat in one or driven one to come up with that?
Less TH-cam, more English class. You didn’t use punctuation in that entire blabbing mess.
As someone who commutes an hour each way to work, these seats are amazing
