You'd think so, but the higher quality recordings take more storage space, where low quality videos take less storage space, and if you need to go back a month cause you went on vacation or something, then the higher quality videos might run out of space. Like a 30 minute 4k video of trees is in the GB range, 1080p is in the Megabytes, and 360p is in the lower Megabyte range to kilobyte range.
@@zeivonzmanyes but ego said 4k? 1080 would be good enough and storage is insanely cheap, a tiny little usb drive can hold a terabyte nowadays and costs a like 20-30 bucks or something like that 🤷♂️
@@lucassvedlund3851 It varies a lot with recordings, but for me on average it's about 600mb for just 30 minutes a day at 30fps, a little over around 750mb for 60fps. For a whole day its in the multiple Gigabyte range, 12 gb a day is a lot to just have stored around. Better off just getting 720p or lower and storing more, as long as you can make faces out it should be fine.
@@lucassvedlund3851 Also Storage isn't cheap, most flash drives that are in the Terabyte range are $80+ dollars, the cheaper "Terabyte" flashdrives you can find online are scams, not the real amount they can store.
